The pup squeaks and wiggles his limbs a bit before calming down and falling asleep.

River sighed tiredly and curled into Cinder’s side whimpering quietly “I don’t want to do it again” he said quietly

"I know, baby..." Cinder says softly as he grooms River.

River smiled at the grooming and nuzzled his mate gently before trying to rest for a little while

Cinder cuddles River and the pup close.

River fell to sleep for a little while before whimpering as the pains started up again

"It's okay, just breathe" Cinder nuzzles River.

River nodded panting quietly looking at Cinder “I love you” he said shakily before crying out at a particularly bad one

"I love you too, so much" Cinder kisses River's cheek.

River held onto him tightly breathing heavily until he felt the need to push. He pushed down as hard as he could feeling his face go red.

"Good job, baby. You can do this" Cinder says softly.

River panted heavily at the break in contractions before bearing down again as hard as he could grunting loudly “It feels stuck” he said shakily

"Should I get Rain?" Cinder asks softly, trying not to show how nervous he was.

River looked at him scared “I don’t want you to leave” he said shakily “I don’t know” he said worriedly

"I won't take very long, we'll need her help if the pup really is stuck" Cinder says "I'll try calling for her first, but if that doesn't work I'll have to go find her" He sighs before howling for his sister.

River whined quietly holding onto Cinder’s hand tightly before crying out at another pain trying to push down

Cinder watches for any signs of the pup emerging.

Rivers face went bright red from exertion as he collapsed back down after the contraction and shook his head tiredly “It’s not…not moving down” he said breathing heavily

"I'll go find Rain, she'll know how to help" Cinder says.

River looked at him worriedly “I don’t want you to leave me” he said shakily “You’ve helped birthing pups before right? You know what to do too?”
