C My Teacher and my Baby Daddy

Jamie dug his thumbs deep into Filons back, “I love you to”. He saw him freeze up and assume he was having a contraction, “you okay?”

Filon sighed quietly and nodded. He took a deep breath.
"It's just a contraction..."

“Okay”, Jamie said, watching Filon sit there and ride it out.

After two hours, Filon was down for a short nap. He was centimeters dilated and was maddeningly unhappy that it was taking so long.
"Our baby is so stubborn..."

Jamie chuckled, “they just take after you”, he told him and moved around in his seat to try and feel some comfort.

Filon looked at the clock agonizingly groaning with displeasure.
"At this rate I'll be in labor for two days," he complained

“I don’t think you will be”, Jamie reassured, rubbing Filons thigh. He moved closer to his lover and pressed a kiss to his head.

Filon murmured quietly, then looked at Jamie with great love.
"It's just... I want to see our baby already..."

[Whoknows]

“I’m sure you do”, Jamie began, “and you’re so close to it”. He looked up at the machines, “when was your last contraction?”

Filon sighed quietly, closing his eyes.
"Some time ago... Just massage my back, okay?"

[Whoknows]

“Okay”, Jamie murmured, moving his hands back to Filons lower back. He dug his thumb into the aching muscles and relived some tension.

Filon breathed deeply, feeling the cramps. His partner's presence was doing him good. He felt safe and supported.
"I can do it, right?"

[Whoknows]

“Of course you can”, Jamie replied, “what can’t you do?”

Filon smiled slightly.
"I will give birth to our baby.... Whole and healthy," he replied

[Whoknows]

Jamie hummed, “you will”. He lifted Filons hand up and placed a kiss on it, relishing the feeling of it just being them two for the last time.

It was late at night when the labor phase reached its most important moment.
A nurse was helping Jamie put on an apron.
"The baby is almost here.... I know you are worried about your partner because he is in tremendous pain, but it is important for you to be supportive of him now."

Jamie listened as the nurse tied the plastic apron, “of course I will be”, he answered, looking back over at his lover. He waited for the nurse to signal he could leave and go back over to Filon who was withering in pain. “Hey baby, I’m back”.

Filon looked at him with slightly tightened lips. He grasped his hand lightly.
"It's already..." he whispered. He was red in the face. He was already slightly sweaty

He used his free hand to push back Filons hair from his face, “we’ll have our baby soon”, Jamie muttered, smiling down at his lover.

Filon sent him a slight smile. A venflon was attached to his hand. He gripped his lover's hand tighter.
"Do you have any last questions?" the midwife asked as she sat down between Filon's legs
