He hissed sarcastically as he curled up on the cot and when he had the strength again he pulled his pants up and wrapped a thin blanket around him, not wanting to look at Loric. The glowing was starting to go down little by little while they talked, and little by little he gained back strength.

Loric arched an eyebrow. "As you should be, considering my needs determine how well you are treated." It was a practical and simple truth, especially among his kind. He would not soften reality for the carrier's sake. It was what it was. They each had roles to play.

Teyuki blinks "I'm sorry but your safe now, right? Is my mating you a bad thing to you or an ok thing?" He looks at the door "I'm glad your still ok with the tempreture. I was concerned you would freeze."

"I suppose. As much as any of us are," Estan shrugs, not quite sure what constitutes safe in this scenario. They were in the same boat, however, whatever boat that was. He inclines his head. "If it wasn't okay, I would have at least put up more of a fight. I'm alright with it. And the temperature you get used to. Having feathers helps." His wings were pinned to his back, which helped him retain a bit of his body heat and keep the cold air off.
