"Cute little thing...." Andrew muttered as he saw the pup.

He did want to pet em though he couldn't due to the labor pains getting stronger, more pups wanting out an the night was young. THe hours passed with Andrew getting weaker and a total of seven more pups being born. Sadly his stomach was very large an there was a long way to go. THe pain of the contractions was strong though it was clear he was struggling to keep up with em.

Chris had taken care of each pup, showing each of them so that Andrew could see them before he laid each one down with its sibling. They all seemed to be about the same size, though smaller than Andrew's first litter.

"This.....is going to go on for a long time....is..isn't it?" Andrew asked tiredly as a need to push quickly overtook him.

It was hard to focus all his remaining strength on pushing. There were so many in there. HE couldn't fall asleep could he? He doubted with the pain he was in but that would hurt the pups right?

"Seems like it, your doing great" Chris wipes Andrew's face once again "You should be getting close, maybe you'll be able to rest soon"

"I don't feel..like I'm getting close..." Andrew answered.

It was true, he did have a big stomach still that tightened with another contraction as the need to push hit him. As he pushed, another pup emerged this one was a bit bigger than the others though not by much. The pup squeaked and whinned as he laid there on the ground. Andrew took several deep breathes as he felt the next one getting ready.

Chris does the same to this pup as he had done to all the others, there were 9 in total, all cuddled and curled together.

Was it really all over? That last one had been much bigger than the other one. Was he really so big with just nine? Sitting up a bit, his stomach was still bloated, probably just weight gained form his pregnancy. A sigh left him as he was extremely tired now, almost ready to pass out. However a pain in his stomach hit him again and he glanced down. There couldn't be...was there?

"Um...Chris..." Andrew started. "I.....I think...there's one more...in there..."

"You know what to do, but try and rest for a minute or two, breath through the contractions"

Well it was easier to breathe without a mountain of a belly ontop of you. Still he wondered why this one wasn't....well he had a idea why it was probably gonna be small. His stomach wasn't that big looking, under full term with one kid. So they were they were probably gonna be the smallest of the litter. The runt. When the pup was born, his fears were proven. They were small and they had a red coat and a black nose, there was also a cream spot on the top of their head.

"Poor thing...the two big ones probrably took most of the nutriention..." Andrew said.

Chris picks the pup up, cleaning it off.

Watching Chris tend to the young pup, Andrew couldn't help but feel....obligated to help them. Would they be happy in the back? Where bigger pups could easily push him around and possibly hurt em?

"Chris..." Andrew started. "I know I...I've put you through a lot but...can...can I take care of that one? He's just so much smaller than the others and I don't....well I'm afraid he won't really be accepted due to that..."

Chris looks over at Andrew for a moment before he finished cleaning the pup off and brings it over to him.

Andrew waited for a answer though all he got was being able to hold the pup, no answer. A sigh left him as he glanced down to the skinny an small pup. It gave a few squeaks an whines. Over the course of three days, most of the pups state got better, they put on weight at a good weight though the red pup wasn't fairing much different from when they were born. They had some more weight but they were still very skinny and often it always tried to get to Andrew whenever it had a chance. Resulting in Andrew holding the youngster and they even took to sleeping near his bed. Despite it's attempts to climb onto the bed though failing.

Andrew would wake many times during the night to find the pup curled up beside him in the bed. Chris would eventually pick it up and put it on the bed to sleep with Andrew while the others stayed curled up in their bed beside Amdrew's.

Honestly he was happy to wake up with the red pup in his bed. IT was nice to see that this one liked him as well, sure the others did but they were often wanting to play with each other an others. Still he wanted to keep this one. The others could be given out amongst the pack but this little red one, he wanted to have around. It was the only one he grew this attatched too. A week later, the little red pup was showing a bit of playfulness and trying to play tug of war with one of it's siblings; though not one of the two massive ones. Andrew glanced to Chris, kind of hoping for a real answer this time.

"So, had enough time to think of my request?" Andrew asked.

"I had figured you would already know the answer, it is yours after all"

"Really?" Andrew said, joy in his voice. "I thought well....isn't this like your pack out there or something an thus I'd have to have your permission or something? Oh well my bad. Thanks though. Can I repay the favor?"

"You already have, and yes, this is my pack. Which reminds me, they will be meeting their parents tomorrow"

"I see, I'll keep me and the little one out of the way then." Andrew said.

HE didn't want to risk his little one getting mixed into the others and possibly get taken away. A sigh left him all he could do was hope things went okay. After all there two large pups and everything else was under the average size with his little red one being the smallest. He was gonna have to come up with a name for em.

Chris nods, the next day coming sooner than they thought. All the pups were brung into the main room of the cabin, 9 members of the pack coming to look them over.
