"I guess that's the feline part of em..." James said as he set the man down.

Charlie groaned. "I don't want to do this right now.. I'm so tired.." he complained. But he couldn't reverse this.

After a couple of hours, seven healthy kits were born, and Charlie was exhausted. He was snuggled up in his bed with all of the kits, and Ben too. He was half-asleep, trying to feed all of the mewling babies. He glanced up at James. "Hey, wanna hold your kids?" He asked.

Maisie had a growth-spurt halfway through the birth so that made it difficult to assist him, but she still helped. Now, she sat on a chair by the bed, holding one of the kits and bottle feeding her. She was happy to be an aunt.

James stayed for the birth, knowing it was the wiser option. Sure his feline hearing was hurting by the end of it but he would suffer with it to try and help.

"Sure." James said, accept one of them.

Thankfully, he hadn't had another growth spurt yet. Maybe he'd make it to tomorrow without one?

Charlie soon fell asleep, which wasn't surprising at all. Maisie and James left the room so the guy could rest.
"Damn I didn't know he could be that loud while in pain," she said with a slight laugh. Although Charlie had been in pain, the birth had went smoothly.

"Oh trust me, birth really really hurts." James said.

"I'm sure it does, popping out kids," Maisie said, plopping down on the couch. She tiredly yawned. "I'm pretty tired. Today was eventful." She said. She lifted up her shirt to look at her rounded belly.

"Well you certainly grew." James said with concern. "Get some sleep. You'll be needing it."

Maisie nodded. "Alright. I'll see you tomorrow, James." She stood up to walk to her bedroom.

When the morning came, James groaned as he slowly came to. THe original litter of ten had woken up during the night and were wanting food and changing, so he had taken the task up himself as they were his kids. Plus Charlie needed to sleep. THough to his surprise he had fallen asleep there and glancing down at his stomach, he took note of the larger size and assumed he must've grown during the night. Course he looked ready to drop quads now but oh well.

Charlie was busy in his room tending to his kids. There were five girls and two boys. He was awake most of the night, but he dozed off whenever he could. He was wondering how they would be able to care for the kids they already have, which was now nineteen including Robert and Ben, and now Maisie and James were going to have more kids!

Maisie had slept in for as long as she could. But soon she couldn't go back to sleep. She showered, put her hair up into a bun, and carefully traveled downstairs to make some breakfast for everyone. Some eggs and toast will do.

Giving a sigh, James steadied himself as he tried to stand up. Getting up on his feet, it was a little hard to balance due to his size, though he finally managed. Making sure the original ten children were asleep still and alright, he started to leave the room when one of the youngsters started to cry. Giving a sigh, James stayed in the room as he tended to the one that just didn't want to fall asleep.

Maisie started serving up the food onto plates, and then she called Robert in. She kissed his forehead and handed him two plates. "Robert, can you please take these up to Uncle Charlie and James? Thanks baby," she ruffled up his hair a bit. She put her and her son's plate on the table so they could eat together.

"Okay." Robert said as he tried to carry both plates.

Finding Charlie was easy and thus they got their breakfest first and after some searching, they found James. It was strange to see the man with a big stomach though he didn't ask about it.

"Thanks Robert." James said.

"you're welcome." Robert said, with that said the youngster left and returned downstairs.

"Hey thanks, kiddo," Charlie said, digging into his breakfast.

Maisie smiled when he came back downstairs. "Here's your food," she said, pointing to a plate. "Oh don't forget to feed your dog! He's probably hungry," she said, sitting down. She was going to tell Robert he was going to be a big brother. Hopefully he wouldn't be angry or sad or upset.

"You're welcome." Robert said to Charlie.

Once back downstairs, he went to give Maxwell their food. All the while none the wiser about his mother expecting.

Once her son sat at the table, she looked at him. "Hey, I have to tell you something.." she smiled a little. "You're going to be a big brother, Robert!"

Robert didn't get it at first, did that mean she was just going to save someone else like she did with him. The poor lad's confusion was made clear as they tilted their head and a confused expression on their little face.

Maisie smiled at his confused little face. "Remember Uncle Charlie had a big stomach, and he just had babies yesterday?" She was trying to explain to him.

"Yeah..." Robert answered.

IT was odd though, wasn't it ladies who had babies? Why did Uncle Charlie have babies?

"Well I'm going to have babies, too," she added, still seeing confusion on his little face.
