"Darling ill heal you need not cry. I promise you that ill heal now lets eat." He rolled onto his side leaning against Darnell. He ate his fill of food then looked over. Willow was curled up head on his back flank to flank.

"Willow is gonna be such s mommy's girl" Darnel says with a smile "Will grow up to be a real stallion killer if she looks half as good as you do"

"Shut it." He said stuffing a peice of fruit in Darnells mouth face going red.willow stored slightly he he gently stroked her hair.

Darnel simply chuckled and kissed the top of his Sotos head before he place some fruit into his own mouth. breakfast progressed smoothly after that. leavijgvthem with free time afterwards "Lets take a walk" He suggests and smiles "Willow can come or stay and play, i dont think any harm will befall her if she stays, the Head stallion is watching afterall" he points out, said stallion was indeed watching, and playing with the foals.

Soto watches as willow runs off. He smiled and then looks over at Darnell folowing him. "Where do you wanna go?" He asked hair ruffled by the wind.

"Theres a nice waterfall not too far from hrre" he says "We cant go far as im still healing so i thought that would be good?" he offers

"Oh I do love water falls there so pretty." He said excited. He seemed so young at heart when he smiled like
It would make any heart melt. He was following him a smile plastered on his face.

the large stallion smiled and walked with him "Sorry for the slow pace" he says "Ive been told to take it easy"

"My hoofs notdoing much better. I think I pinched it and now its just angry." He said limp showing rather badly. There was a pink scar that ran acroos the front of the join it was very wide. Most wouldhave been curious and asked what its from.

"So, what caused that?" he asks softly "If you dong mind me asking, i may be able to help" he says with a smile.

"Well when I was a teen I decided to go cliff climbing with some others my age. One of them above me lost thete footing and slid back ward he hit a rock wich came loose. My foot was trapedin a hole and the rock came down right ontop of it. The others ran while I spent 7 hours trying to free myself before one of the older boys came to rescue me. There was blood everywhere. They said the hole kept my whole go of from being crushed." He said stretching his leg.

he nods "hmm, an old one huh" he says softly and pets his lower back "well i cant repair all the damage, but i know a few tricks that may help" he says with with a smile "In the mean time lets enjoy a nice relaxing walk"

He leaned into his petting the touch gentle and reassuring. He scooted closer so they were walking side by side. He was much shorter and smaller then Darnell by about two hands high. He looked up darnell his pale hues content.

Darnel smiled looking down at him keeping his hand on his back. he was quite happy and content, despite his injuries he smiled and didnt regret anything.

They walked for some time in the quiet of each others company. Soto loojed around as his ears picked up on the rushing roar of water. They had to be getting close.

"There" Darnel says pointing to the cliff witb the small waterfall cascading off of it "Almost there"

"Its sooooo pretty." He said eyes wide as he folowed him.

The stallion smiled and led him to the shore of the small lake that was attached to the waterfall. he kept him close and instructed him to stay silent and pointed out the various animals coming to drink. from the cool clear waters. large fish could be seen swimming in the waters aswell.

Soto looked eyes wide. Hed never seen such things so beautiful. His eyes darted every where. His eyes sparkled as he watched the animals. He nearly jumped when a bird landed on his back. It was blue with longfeathers on its back and head. It was a bluejay. He reached his hand out and in steped into his hand.
