Shadow wakes up to see that everyone was gone so he goes outside to join his family.

Hunter had fallen back to sleeps his body around the pups gently

Shadow smiles a bit and lays down with them.

Hunter stirred a little when Shadow laid down opening his eyes a little “Hey” he said softly smiling at his mate

"Hey, handsome" Shadow smiles lovingly "Are your hips still hurting?"

Hunter nodded “Yeah, it’s aching but the snow is helping” he smiled gently “But it’s okay” he said softly “I can deal, I didn’t mean to wake the pups but they just followed me out”

"Aww, they're too sweet for their own good sometimes" Shadow chuckles softly "...maybe we should make this cave our home for now, just until you're feeling better"

Hunter laughed looking at them “Definitely, they’re probably so cold” he said softly “Maybe just for a few days until my hips heal or the pain eases, if that’s okay with you?”

Shadow cuddles closer so the pups are between them and covers them with his tail "It's alright, your wellbeing is important"

Hunter smiled at Shadow tears coming to his eyes “I love you so so much” he said softly

"I love you too, more than anything" Shadow smiles.

Hunter smiled brightly “I’m glad I gave you the rabbit that day, so so glad” he said softly and moved over enough to nuzzle his mate affectionately

"So am I" Shadow smiles and nuzzles back.

Hunter smiled gently and laid his head on top of Shadows resting

Shadow snuggles as closer to Hunter as he can.

Shadow falls asleep soon after his mate.

Hunter slept restlessly, moving a lot in his sleep and whining softly

Hunter calmed down and fell back to sleep for a while
