Hunter smiled gently “I know” he said softly “And I love it, I really do, but if there was something really wrong I would know right? It’s my body, I mean the aching hips is annoying but something I grew up always knowing would eventually happen with the way I have to run and the sick…well, to be honest it happened when I was out hunting too but it’s not a big deal, just the berries”

"Right...sorry for being so smothering" Shadow smiles a bit "I can't help be want to take care of people when they're sick, it's a habit that I picked up from taking care of my sister since she got sick often..."

Hunter smiled sadly and pulled Shadow into his arms gently rubbing his back “You’re not going to lose me to some random sickness, we’re going to grow old together, I promise” he said softly rubbing Shadows back gently

"I know, I'll make sure of that" Shadow hugs Hunter closer "We will too!" The pups bark.

Hunter laughed softly and smiled at the pups before kissing Shadow softly and pulling away happily before curling up to sleep

Hunter kissed his neck lightly and rubbed his side gently unable to sleep just thinking

"Go to sleep, babe" Shadow chuckles softly.

Hunter laughed softly “I can’t…I don’t know, what if there is something wrong with me?” He said softly looking at him nervously

Hunter sighs “What if it doesn’t go away?” He said sadly chewing on his lip “I don’t want you stuck looking after me if I’m going to be sick forever” he said softly

"I would be stuck with you if I choose to stay, I took care of my sister so I'm more than willing to take care of you too. You taught me how to survive, we'll all be fine" Shadow says "You're stuck with me no matter what"

Hunter smiled gently “I love you so much” he said softly and touched his cheek gently leaning their heads together sighing happily before rubbing his stomach to try and calm it a bit “I don’t understand why I’m bloated when I’ve been so sick” he said shaking his head a little

"Maybe I got you pregnant" Shadow teases Hunter, trying to cheer him up.

Hunter laughed softly “I wish” he said shaking his head lightly and tucked his head into Shadow’s neck gently “I mean, the chance is very slim, we only mated once with the pups being around and everything, I doubt it actually happened”
