Marie nodded and curled up next to him “Okay, that’s not too many, you probably have plenty of time” she said smiling before closing her eyes to rest

"Hopefully, they can wait a little longer until your Papa gets back" Shadow smiles and lays down to rest as well.

Marie laid her head on Shadows stomach and back falling to sleep

Marie slept for a few hours

Shadow wakes up and groans as another pain hits "Oww..." He mumbles softly.

Marie stirred a little before falling back to sleep again

Shadow gets up, being careful not to wake up his daughter.

Shadow paces around the den for a little while before going to cook one of the birds his family had caught the previous night.

Marie wakes to the smell of the cooking bird and stretched out “Daddy, you should be resting, I can get that for you”

"I've got it, you seemed tired" Shadow smiles at her "I can still cook by myself" He chuckles.

Marie shook her head “Stubborn as always” she laughed lightly and sat next to him

"Where do you think you got your stubbornness from?" Shadow laughs.

[Littleittyboy]

Marie laughed and shrugged a little “I don’t know…I mean, I never met Star” she said, a little sadly “But you and Papa are both stubborn so maybe it was just going to happen either way” she grinned

"Star was stubborn too, you're actually alot like him" Shadow smiles at her.

Marie smiled brightly at him and nuzzled him gently

Shadow nuzzles back and his tail wags.

Marie smiled and stretched “Do you want to go for a short walk after your food?”
