"Sure, maybe you could hunt for your breakfast while we're out too" Shadow says as he starts eating the bird.

Marie nodded smiling gently as she waited patiently for her father to finish his food

Shadow quickly finishes his meal and stands up "Ready to go?" He asks.

Marie smiled and nodded before standing and exiting the cave happily

Shadow follows behind her, moving noticeably slower than he usually did.

Marie slowed her pace to match his “I would think the pups are slowing you down daddy” she laughed lightly and nudged him playfully

"Oh shush, ya brat" Shadow laughs and playfully nudges her "I'm taking it easy for their sake"

Marie laughed lightly “Sure sure, you keep telling yourself that” she teased playfully

"Hey, be nice to the old man" Shadow grins and takes off running.

Marie laughed and ran after him easily, letting him lead for a while

Shadow keeps running with his daughter for awhile before he needs to stop and catch his breath.

Marie laughed lightly and stopped next to him “I suppose it’s the pups fault you need to stop” she teased

"It...it is actually...just need to catch my breath..." Shadow replies.

Marie laughed lightly and sat next to him happily, her tail wagging

Shadow smiles tiredly and nuzzles her.

Marie laughed lightly and nuzzled him back “Let’s get back to the cave, you’ll need to rest after all that exercise, papa might be back with that fruit now”

"I hope so, I'm hungry again" Shadow chuckles as they walk back to the cave together.

Marie smiled brightly as they headed back slowly together

Shadow smiles at her, trying not to show that he was in pain again.
