River smiled “Just for you, forever, I promise” he said softly and kissed him gently before pulling away “I’m hungry” he chuckled

"Want that rabbit I caught for you?" Cinder offers.

River stroked his cheek gently “Sure, are you not hungry? I mean, you definitely should be after the way you were moving” he winked playfully

Cinder lets out a surprised squeak and blushes "I-I'm good...thanks"

River smiled brightly and kissed his cheek “That is very cute” he laughed lightly and moved to get the rabbit, chewing on it happily

Cinder smiles and shifts back into his wolf form.

River quickly eats the rabbit before shifting into his wolf form and going back over licking Cinder’s face happily “The rabbit was delicious” he grinned brightly

"I'm glad you liked it, the little bastard wasn't easy to catch" Cinder laughs.

River laughed lightly and leaned down licking Cinder’s sore leg gently “You know I would have been happy with anything you caught, you’re not a hunter so I’m not expecting you to bring me a deer” he laughed softly

"I know...I just wanted to do something nice for you since you got hurt" Cinder says "I'm definitely not doing any hunting again anytime soon" He chuckles.

River laughed and shook his head “And in the process you got hurt instead. How about we leave the hunting in this relationship to me and the healing to you” he said smiling over at him

"Right, probably a good idea" Cinder laughs "I'm much better at healing than hunting"

River grinned “Best healer I know” he said winking at him playfully before stretching a little “We should get back to the cave before the pack wonders where we are” he said softly and smiled at him gently before starting to head back

"I'm pretty sure most of them already know that we've been seeing each other" Cinder chuckles and follows River.

River laughed lightly “I know, they’ll definitely be able to smell it on us when we get there but they might think we got ambushed or something, so just to be safe” he winked “And it means we get to sleep together tonight” he said a little excitedly

"Oh hell yeah!" Cinder grins and starts walking faster.

River laughed lightly and quickly got to the cave where he could feel the other wolves staring as he walked past to the back of the cave where it was his spot and he curled up smiling at Cinder happily

Cinder looks around at the other wolves as he goes over to join River, smiling shyly as he lays down beside his mate.
