River nuzzled him back gently “I love you” he said tiredly before grunting and pushing down hard holding onto Cinder tightly breathing heavily

"Love you too" Cinder smiles as he gently tries to help get the pup's shoulders out.

River panted quickly before bearing down again gasping as he felt the pup release and panted heavily leaning against the nest tiredly

"Woah, hello there big guy" Cinder chuckles and cuddles the pup close to groom him clean.

River smiled tiredly watching Cinder with the pup “He definitely is big” he laughed tiredly “Just one more pup and our family will all be here” he said happily

"Well, almost all of our family" Cinder grins at his tired mate, tail wagging happily.

River looked at him confused “What do you mean baby?” He asked tiredly rubbing at his eyes

"You're not the only one that's carrying our pups" Cinder grins and nudges River's paw against his stomach

River looked at him shocked “What? You’re carrying another litter of our pups? Since when? Why didn’t you tell me?” He said shocked

"I just found out this morning, I wanted to tell you back at the clearing but your litter's arrival interrupted me" Cinder laughs.

River smiled brightly and shook his head “Oh my god, we’re going to have two litters in a matter of months” he laughed “We’re going to be in trouble”

Cinder smiles and cuddles River close "At least we'll have the rest of the pack to help out"

River smiled gently “I love you” he said softly before whimpering at another pain “The last pup I think wants to join us now” he groaned a little

"I love you too" Cinder smiles back at River "Well then let's not keep them waiting"

River leaned back against the nest taking deep breaths between the pain
