Cinder smiles a bit and his tail wags weakly.

River smiled and gently laid him down going to check his progress, he was a little shocked as his mate’s hole had started to widen but the pup wasn’t crowning yet

"Wh-What's wrong?" Cinder asks when he sees the surprised look on River's face.

River chewed his lip not wanting to worry his mate more “I’m sure you feel the burning…but the baby isn’t there yet” he said worriedly, he had never heard of this happening before but assumed it was because of the pups size

"A-Are you...ngh...sure?" Cinder grunts out as he tenses up.

River sighed softly “Unfortunately I am baby, but don’t worry, I’m sure in a few more pushes it will be crowning” he said hopefully moving back up to his mates side and began rubbing his back softly again

Cinder whines in frustration and pushes hard.

River kissed his head before wiping him down with a cloth “You’re doing so good” he said softly before hearing a whimper from his mate “Do you feel it starting to crown baby?” He asked gently

Cinder nods, still pushing "I-I think so..."

River moved back down holding his leg up to try and save a bit of his energy “It’s almost there baby, it’s probably an inch away” he smiled at his mate worried about the size of the pup.

Cinder whimpers and grunts before crying out and pushing as hard as he could.

River rubbed his back gently as he watched the head start to push lightly against his mate’s hole. “You’re doing so good, it’s right there ready to crown”

"F-Finally..." Cinder sighs as he stops to catch his breath.

River moved to his side and gently pushed his hair back wiping his face gently “You’re doing so so good, now comes the hard part” he said softly “But you’re so incredibly strong, you’ll be great at this” he smiled gently at his mate

"Y-You think so...?" Cinder asks tiredly.

River kissed his head softly “I know so” he smiled lovingly at his mate “I know you’re tired but it will be finished soon”

"...thank goodness" Cinder sighs softly before tensing up.

River laughed softly before kissing his head once more and moving down holding his leg up gently “You ready?” He asked smiling encouragingly at him

Cinder nods hesitantly before starting to push again.

River rubbed his back gently watching the head barely move as he pushed it
