Cinder follows behind his mate, keeping an eye out for any animals they could catch together.

River winced at another pain but continued on to the clearing before crouching down when he saw a deer eating some grass

Cinder sneaks around to the deer's other side to block it's path if it tried to run away.

River smiled at his mate before pouncing onto the deer in one jump before quickly killing it

"Nice kill, babe!" Cinder grins and walks over to River and the the deer.

River grinned and licked his lips a little before wincing at another pain before trying to hide it from his mate, not wanting him to worry

"Are you sure you're okay? Did you pull a muscle or something?" Cinder asks when he notices River wincing.

River smiled gently at him and shook his head “I’m fine, let’s take this to our clearing” he smiled encouragingly

Cinder nods and picks up the deer, carrying it on his back as he makes his way to the clearing with River.

River helped happily feeling a few more of the pains as they made their way to the clearing but not alerting Cinder to them. They finally arrived and set the deer down. He sighed and laid next to it happily

Cinder sets the deer down in the grass under their favorite tree "Dig in, baby" He grins and shifts into his human form.

River grinned phasing to his human form before pulling it apart eating it happily. Once finished, he laid back, his stomach looking even more bloated than before and he rubbed at it happily “That was a good feed” he chuckled

"I can tell" Cinder laughs and gently pokes his mate's bloated stomach.

River winced slightly at the touch, his stomach a bit sensitive before he smiled and pulled his mate close laying back on the grass with him “You’re so rude to me, remember I’m your alpha” he teased playfully

"Retired alpha, ya old geezer" Cinder teases back, laying down beside River.

River laughed lightly “I will always be your alpha, our son isn’t taking that from me” he grinned and kissed the side of his mate’s head softly nuzzling him gently

"Of course" Cinder nuzzles back and kisses River.

River kissed him back gently smiling against his mouth “I love you so much” he mumbled lightly against his lips

"I love you too, so so much" Cinder grins and his tail wags.

River smiled brightly holding him close and nuzzling him “I think it’s time for a nap after all that food” he laughed softly
