River smiled gently and laid his head on his mate’s chest before resting for a while

Cinder cuddles River close and shuts his eyes.

River didn’t rest much, the pains were coming more often and stronger together. After a few hours while Cinder was still resting, River had started to whimper quietly and sweat had started to form on his forehead

Cinder stirs a bit and nuzzles River in his sleep.

River nuzzled back a little not wanting to disturb his mate resting

Cinder's tail wags.

River smiled gently watching his mate happily before gasping at another pain grabbing onto his stomach tightly

"River...? You okay, baby?" Cinder mumbles tiredly, not quite awake.

River hummed quietly “I’m fine, just rest baby” he panted a little

Cinder nuzzles and kisses him before dozing off again.

River smiled looking at his mate. He was in pain for another hour before he decided to wake Cinder to get help “Hey, hey, wake up please, I need you to get Rain” he said panting a little sweat dripping down his face

"Baby? What's wrong?" Cinder asks tiredly as he slowly wakes up "Are you okay?"

River whimpered curling into Cinder’s side “My stomach, I’m in so much pain” he cried a little

"O-Oh! I'll go find Rain" Cinder runs off to find his sister.

River whimpered quietly and curled in on himself. Rain was organising some different herbs she had collected in the healers den

"Rain! We need your help, something is wrong with River" Cinder tells his sister as he runs into her den.

Rain looked at her brother concerned “What’s wrong?” She asked phasing to follow him quickly

"River said that his stomach hurts, he's in alot of pain..." Cinder explains as he leads Rain to where River is.

Rain nodded and got to the clearing and went over to River phasing back and gently pressed on his tender stomach feeling around, River cried out a bit in pain as she did so “Wow” she said softly and looked over at Cinder “He’s in labour, there are two pups, big ones”
