Maze smiled gently “Yeah…he was always scary” he said sadly and ran a finger along a scar on his side gently “My brother isn’t much different which is scary” he said sadly

"I'm sorry if this sounds rude but it doesn't seem like you're very happy with your pack..."

Maze smiled sadly “Yeah, but they’re my family…” he said quietly “And they’re not all bad, just the alphas, my dad and my brother really make it difficult” he sighed but then smiled over at Whisper “But I’m okay” he said gently

Maze scrunched his nose up laughing “But you’re the enemy remember” he grinned nudging him “I can’t tell you too much” he smiled at the other man gently, staring into his purple eyes he felt his heart racing a little.

"That's fair" Whisper laughs, grinning back at Maze.

Maze felt his cheeks flush a little as he looked at the other wolf, enjoying that he made him laugh. He looked away biting his lip trying to hide his blush a little

Whisper notices the other wolf blushing and starts to blush a bit himself.

Maze looked over shyly and smiled a little “I feel…this is so weird…I mean, I feel so connected to you and we’ve had a total of two conversations, one after you saved my life…that’s weird right? It’s just me isn’t it?”

"I don't think it's weird, some people are just meant to get along" Whisper grins.

Maze laughed softly “Yes, the alpha lines from warring packs, that’s definitely right” he grinned over at the other wolf

"Well opposites attract, right?" Whisper grins and his tail wags.

Maze laughed softly and looked over at the other wolf “I don’t think we’re opposites” he teased

Maze smiled gently at him before looking out at the water again, just thinking about nothing

Maze laid down and closed his eyes just listening to the rushing water

Whisper does the same and soon falls asleep.

Maze fell asleep too, the cave was a bit cold so he headed up curling into Whisper a little as he slept
