Maze laughed gently “You’re right, I probably wouldn’t be” he said stroking his fur “Take a nice deep breath and push down hard to get the head out” he said softly

Whisper nods and takes a deep breath, pushing with all of his might.

Maze watched in fascination as the head slowly pushed out before it popped out with some fluids, he reached down holding the head of the pup gently “The heads out, it has your colouring, at least on its head” he smiled brightly

Whisper yelps when the head squeezes through "R-Really?"

Maze smiled lovingly over at him and nodded “Yeah, it’s beautiful” he said tearfully “I love you so much, you’re so amazing”

"Love you t-too, so are you" Whisper smiles tiredly. The baby's nose twitches a bit.

Maze smiled looking down at the pup as it started to sniff his hand before it started to move inside Whisper trying to get free.

Whisper cries out and pushes as hard as he can as his belly contracts in response to the pup's movements.

Maze held onto the pup gently trying to help pull it out as he could see it’s hind legs kicking violently in Whisper trying to get free

Whisper whimpers and squirms anxiously, crying out and pushing hard "G-GET IT OUT!"

Maze looked at his mate worriedly and grabbed the pup just below his front legs and pulled him, a little slowly to ensure his mate didn’t tear, until he came free “He’s out” he said holding the pup to his chest

"Is...is he okay?" Whisper asks, struggling to sit up and check on the newborn.

Maze rubbed the back of the pup and he gave a tiny yap “Yeah, he’s fine” he laughed gently and passed him to Whisper gently “The first of our litter” he grinned widely

Whisper sighs in relief, cuddling the crying pup close and grooming him clean.

Maze turned back into his wolf form and curled around his mate nuzzling him gently “You’re so amazing, you’ve already had one pup and it’s barely been any time at all”

"How many do think are left?" Whisper asks, using the short break between pups to rest for as long as he could.

Maze nuzzled at him gently “I’m not sure, last time Dawn checked how many did he think? I know when you first got pregnant he thought 4-6, did that change?”

Whisper nuzzles back "Not really, he checked yesterday and said that it still felt like about that many" He says.

Maze nodded before sitting up and changing to his human form before trying to be extremely gentle to not cause his mate any extra pain he gently pushed down and felt around his stomach lightly trying to decipher how many pups there was
