Jamie groaned, just when they were getting into it. Anyway, he left his lover and opened the door to his mate. “Welcome, come in”, he said.

Filon put the cheese quickly on a plate and as he carried it to the living room table, the other professor walked in with Jamie. Jordan greeted the pregnant man gently, then sat down in an armchair across from the couple "I couldn't wait to visit you..." he laughed, then handed Jamie a gift bag "I bought whiskey and I'm depositing it in the hands of the host."

Jamie laughed, “that’s a good idea”, he said and took the bag. “Let me put it in the kitchen so it can cool down”. He got up and left the room, leaving Filon and Jordan alone.

Filon dressed in a thick white sweater and dark matching leggings looked at the professor surreptitiously with a small smile "Jamie forbade me to claim that you are handsome..." he whispered amused

Jamie could actually hear everything happening in the living and had to hold in his laugh, he decided to stay and wait to hear what else would be said.

Filon looked at the professor with seriousness "I will tell you something else, but in return I want to get something from you.... Photos and videos from Jamie's student days," he began to negotiate

He gasped, ‘this can’t happen’ he thought before walking back into the room. “Sorry about the wait guys the drink is in the fridge for now”.

Filon looked at his lover. He sat down as if nothing ever happened and looked at the lemon water he had requested. "I'll bring some ice, perhaps?"

“I can get it if you like”, he said, standing back up.

Filon thanked him, and Jordan looked at his friend with an amused expression on his face "Oh, someone's got someone around his finger here."

Jamie raised his eyebrow and sighed, “he sure does”.

Filon high-fived Jordan with a smile. When Jamie returned, Jordan decided to be direct "Jamie, straightforward and to the point.... Your relationship at what stage? Are you two a couple or not?"

Jamie froze, he hadn’t actually thought about it, “I guess we are”, he said, looking over a Filon and grabbing his hand.

Filon blushed sharply, but caught his hand intimidated slightly "You haven't said the words yet," he whispered quietly, and then just hugged his arm himself "Jamie, he's mine," he whispered

“I will one day”, Jamie whispered back, smiling softly at him.

Jordan laughed looking at them "But you two have become close.... I wouldn't have guessed even six months earlier that I would see you so happy, man."

Jamie flushed, “yeah, neither did I”, he replied. “Now enough about this, how are you and your wife?”

Jordan sighed quietly, then stroked his temples "She filed for divorce in the end.... And that's probably the best news. We didn't get along last time and even slept separately."

“Oh no”, Jamie murmured, “how are you doing since that happened?”

Jordan shrugged his shoulders "I may come off as an ass, but I have no regrets. It was a good decision. Life doesn't end after divorce."
