"Yes this will be your room. Will you require anything?"

"Yeah, and..." John is overcome by the urge to throw up.

And so is Dick.

10 minutes later...

"Sorry about that, and what was I going to say?" John cannot remember.

"That you and I are both luthiers by trade." Dick suggests.

"Yeah, that, as we make mandolins." John looks at Henry.

"Everything happens pretty fast with the pregnancies here. How long are you planning to stay?"

"As long as possible." John and Dick reply in unison.

"If you want." Dick smiles. "And we can also help around here."

"As long as possible, I guess." John replies. "But for us, will be 9 months each time."

"Actually because of the powers of the hotel all pregnancies are shortened. And everyone who stays here or works here gets pregnant at one point"

Caleb sits at the front desk and sighs. He has worked at the hotel for so long but has never gotten pregnant like everyone else. No one was ever interested in him. He was lonely and felt left out
