More cocoons split open as she makes it to the door.

She tries dashing into another room to hide in there. Maybe she'd be safe for a while in this room. She feels the eggs shifting in her belly and groans a little.

"Let me go" I scream struggling against the troops

She hears the aliens shuffling outside as she curls up in a stationery cupboard. It's just about big enough to hold her. In the dim light, she can see bloodstains on the walls from where the workers who tried to fight back were gunned down.

Alex sighed a little bit, hoping her family was okay.

A few hours pass...

( wrapped in a cocoon? Isn't that just those that become part of the hive?)

Rayne heart was racing a mile a minute as he watched the cocoon seem to grow around him. No, he could not go out like this! Not after having survived for this long!

Umbra sniffed around, his body adapt at hunting any prey. He started to go towards Alex's hiding spot. His massive footsteps could be heard through the building.

Alex was wondering what to do, and thinking about how to escape when she heard very loud footsteps. She tried to keep silent, hoping he wouldn't hear or see her. She tried keeping her breathing steady, but it was no use. He neared closer and closer. He knew she was there.

Zach, meanwhile, is crammed into a tiny cell with three others. He knows that he's in one of the aliens' holding facilities, but he's not sure where.

Inside the cocoon, Rayne mind started to slow and he snarled at the feeling. He pressed a hand against the cocoon, feeling it give dlightly, as was the nature of it. He forced his mind to work as he ran his hand along the sides. He refused to become on of those things. He worked his way towards the base, where the gas seemed to gather, used his nail to bore a few holes inside to provide ventilation. When fresh air now flowed and the gas seeping out, he relaxed. He was safe for now.

There's nothing to look at in Zach's cell, and nothing to hear but the execution squads outside.
