Dr. Ronson pressed the stethoscope to Brian's belly. The baby's heartbeat was regular and he took note of this. "Everything seems to be in order," he said.

"I'm afraid we'll have to wait another month to see that," Dr. Ronson said as he put away his stethoscope. "But I can give you a look at it on the ultrasound." He manoeuvred the ultrasound machine around and reached for a bottle of gel.

Dr. Ronson squirted some glue on his belly and turned on the ultrasound machine. He brought it around and began to scan Brian's bump, looking for the baby. "Ah, there it is!" he said with a smile when the baby appeared on the screen.
