The old mans babies

A werewolf finds an older male, in his forties or fifties has wandered into his territory to hunt. The man is pretty normal except for the fact that he is heavily pregnant. He has taken shelter in the cabin for the night from an upcoming blizzard.



James found the older male hidden in the small abandoned cabin located right in the middle of his territory. The man's chiseled features hidden by the peppered grey beard that covered most of his face along with his shaggy grey hair. The man had to be in his middle to late forties or early fifties. What surprised the large wolf though was the males large, swollen abdomen. It took up most of his lap as he sat at the old couch, his legs spread to accommodate the extra weight. He didn't know that James was there, watching through the window, his black pelt melting into the darkness of night.

Samuel pushed his hair out of his face as he sat on the couch. Rubbing his stomach as felt one of the babies move smiling a bit. He had gone out into the woods ealier in the day for a walk since he was restless just sitting at home he was wearing a blue coat with with black shirt underneath it and blue pants with black boots on. He hadn't meant to be out for that long since he was due any day now but he had gotten lost in the woods since he had gone to far in. That there was alos blizzard on the way siginger he pushed himself carefully of off the couch.

James continues to watch the older male. The cabin was still standing good enough to protect from the oncoming storm but years of no use had caused some of the wood to begin rotting. Not to mention there was no food or anything of the sort inside, not even running water or wood for a fire. The previous owner had passed sometime ago, since then James had taken to sometimes staying at the cabin during storms, like the one that was approaching. He could feel the change in the air, the hair on his hackles rising as the sudden change in temperature, it was dropping, dangerously fast.

Samuel pulled his coat around himself closer as the temperature droped. Rubbing his arms he went to the room that he found when he had first found the cabin bending over he grabbed what was left of the sheet that was on the bed. It wasn't much since nothing in the cabin even worked and he had forgotten to get some wood for a fire. He had something to lit one with since he had his lighter with him sighing he made his way back into the living room. "Great it is freezing out and I forgot to get wood",Samuel grumbled rubbing his stomach once more.

After being alone in the cabin for a bit, the temperature continuing to drop James watches the man once again get up from the couch, making his way out to the porch. He wouldn't survive without a fire and the possibility of frostbite was very possible. James stays hidden as Samuel makes his way out into the trees to find some small wood for a fire.

Samuel pulled the blanket around himself grumbling as he went outside. Looking back in the direction of the cabin to make sure that he knew the way back. Squatting down once he got to the spot from ealier that had some dry wood at. Letting go of blanket he laid it out on the ground before getting up and picking up wood putting on the blanket before the wind could blow it away. Standing up straight he rubbed his lower back when he had enough wood he tied the blanket corners together. Picking up the blanket he headed back towards the cabin so he could start fire.

James continues to watch him, his interest in the male growing. He was a male, a human male from what he could tell, so how was he pregnant? James follows him back to the cabin, still being sure to keep himself hidden. It took a few tries before Samuel finally got a fire started, but he did manage to start one. The wind continues to get up, blowing the storm in.

Samuel sat down in front of the fire once he got it started. Putting his hands out in front of himself to warm them up since they were almost frozen. He sat there for a bit while waiting for his thaw out before taking off his coat and bolled it up leaning forward he took off his boots. Samuel hoped that he enough wood to last him until the storm was over. Though he would have to worry about food and water he would have to find a contain for water food would have to wait. Pushing himself up off of the floor he went to the kitchen to find something to put snow in to melt it. Looking through the cabinets he found an old rusty pot and a bottle but was so good to use.

The storm had not yet reached the area but as a howl echoed through the trees letting James know that the storm had reached the high mountains and was beginning its decent into the valley. None of the creatures knew how long this storm would last, some had been known to last for days, even weeks.

Samuel waddled back into the living room grabbing his boots and coat. Putting them both back on and grabbing both containers and the blanket he went back outside. He needed to get some more wood and a bit of snow for water.

James watches the male closely. He could clearly see that the man's stomach was large, and that the babies had dropped low into his abdomen, preparing themselves for birth though the man showed no indication of labor.

Samuel waddled to the back of the cabin and opened the back door. Going out he picked up a hand full of snow and put it into the pan he did this until it was a bit full before putting it inside. Rubbing his lower back as he strengthen out going into the woods but not to far this time he picked up a few sticks and put them on the blanket. Gathering some more wood and brushing some snow away he was looking for some plants that were safe for him to eat. Hurrying back inside when temptre dropped once more closing the door he picked up both of the containers and went back into the living room.

As time went on, the constant bending that Samuel had been doing throughout the day was beginning to effect him. James had made his way up onto the porch to lay down as the snow began to fall, Samuel was currently back on the couch in the same position as James had first seen him as he waited for his melted water to cool so that he could drink it.

Samuel had the blanket on the couch underneath him. Leaning back against the couch he drank from his bottle once the water was cooled down. Sam rubbed his back it was sore from him bending over ealier taking off his boots he set them next to the couch. Stretching his feet in front of the fire since his feet were cold though he eventually layer down rubbing his stomach. Grunting when he was kicked hard from one of the babies.

James laid down on the porch, continuing to listen to Samuel as the storm worsened. From his place on the porch he was pretty much protected. Laying his head on his paws he was stirred from his light slumber sometime later by a rather low pain filled groan from inside.

Samuel started to fall asleep but couldn't. So he just laid there groaning every now and then sitting up he rubbed his back. Taking off his pants so that he was only wearing his shirt since he had stopped wearing underwear towards the end of his pregnancy. Kicking his pants over to where his boots groaning he leaned forward.

A few seconds later Samuel works himself to his feet just as his water breaks. The beginning contractions are subtle but there. Hearing the splash of water James turns to watch.

Samuel let out a gasp as soon as he stood up. His water had just broken he had gotten up to put more wood on the fire. Samuel leaned against the couch moaning

James watches through the window once again. The man was clearly in distress but the wolf didn't know if he should announce his presence or not.

Sam pushed himself off the side of the couch when the contraction had passed. Breathing he moved away from it grabbing the blanket off of the couch he laid it on the floor. Bending over on his hands and knees when another contraction went through him.
