Backstory: After a one night stand on his 21st birthday Cody became ill only to discover that he was pregnant. The father doesn't know and Cody has no intention of telling him.
The birth was imminent, that much he was certain of. The subtle back pains had started a day or so ago and now they had gotten much worse, traveling throughout his body to center in his stomach which in the last hour or so had begun to tighten under his hands, the contractions were almost an hour apart so to pass time Cody took a seat on the couch flipping through the tv channels, his hands unconsciously running over his stomach. He had excepted long ago that he would probably be doing this alone, and he was perfectly fine with that, as long as the baby was healthy.
