"Wait what? You're....real? Talking mice are a real thing now."

He rubbed his belly, which groaned queasily.

"Guess I'm not surprised; centaurs exist so why not animals that can talk? So, uh, hi Siv. I'm Jaxon."

Harry's blood went cold as he came around the side of the farmhouse and spied Claire chatting with that little brat Adam. Not two weeks ago that boy had been big as a house with Tee's foal; he only hoped the kid hadn't run his mouth to her! Claire was inquisitive and if she got the slightest hint of strange happenings on the farm, she could get him sent to jail!

"Well hey there, lil' lady! Sorry I wasn't here to see you pull up! How was the ride?"

Claire looked up in surprise, but soon, her face softened again, "The ride was fine my good m'sieur, a little nauseating but otherwise quite alright." she said as she smiled at Harry, "Your boy Adam, he needs some rest, he might end up fainting if he works himself too hard." she said as she grasped Harry's hands and brought it to her soft red lips, she then set them down and walked back to the porch to get her luggages.
