The Chosen (story rp, open.)

"Really? And what do you think of the conversation? Putting aside your duty to the Imperial Army?" Ryne asked as he rested slightly against his staff.

Koji snarled and prepared a hidden dagger he had always kept him on for long-range attacks in battles or hunting. He snorted as the elf vanished. "Damn corward". He growled and waited for the rest of the party to continue on their journey. They were wasting time standing around trying to talk to some stuck up elf.

Ryne's questions were greeted with nothing except for the wind and nearby voices. Aster could prose a bit of curiousity in the matter as another elf would have likely tailed them instead. Just because he did not respond did not mean he could not hear with his pointed ears. The werewolf could scowl and hiss all he wanted to. His kind was at the top of the Army's hunting list and he would be best to remember it in case there were certain incidents to happen. Most of them did join the Dark Legion after all, which garnered the elves present in the tavern enough merit to watch the group closely.

Jeremy's eyes widened, and he looked around, worried. The tension that was in the air was affecting him in a bad way. When he felt a sharp pain in his head, he decided he needed to get away a bit. In addition, he needed to say goodbye to his brothers. Feeling nervous and stuttering a bit, Jeremy says

"So, since we're all here and probably will not return to the city for a while, can i write a letter to say goodbye to some friends?"

The female glowered at the figure, mistrustful and annoyed at him. His explanation wasn't much better, it was like riddle and didn't quite answer their question. "Weird elf...", she grumbled under her breath as he vanished, listening to the werewolf beside her hiss. She looked at the younger human as he spoke, a small smile on her face. They were going to go on a journey, hopefully one that would help save them. It was amazing, to finally do something.

As he received no reply, Jeremy assumed that it would not matter if he wrote the letter. Then he sat on a stone, took a paper and a quill pen from his bag, and began to write. When Jeremy finished writing the letter, he looked up and realized he was being watched by Zahina. He blushed and looked away.

(who is the younger man? Jeremy or Ryne?)

"Fine, make it quick". Koji grumbled and started to pace around the area searching for the missing elf. He wanted answers from the elf and he wanted them now. He wasn't in the mood to be toyed with. He decided the next time he saw the elf he was going to deck the bastard for his disrespect.

(Jeremy, sorry)
Zahina settled on the ground, pulling her cloak close as she watched Koji pace and Jeremy write. She stared at the direction she though the elf had gone, pondering his words. Well if he wasn't trouble then he was fine, she just wanted to do this as fast as possible. Crossing her legs, she tilted her head to look at the sky, itching to fly instead of sitting around.

"I thank you all for your courage. The journey will be long and dangerous, but the gods will look down and be glad that someone is trying to make a difference." Ryne said as he carefully sat down, spreading his legs out like a pregnant woman.

Koji sniffed the air and attempted to catch the elf's scent so he could track him. He was in the mood to hunt for anything. Besides, the forest looked quite tempting to explore and race though in his wolf form. But he had a mission to focus for now and he wanted to get it over with. So he could bring back his pack and restore it's pride. Werewolves prided themselves on being strong and powerful. So to be wiped out by their own species who turned them was a disgrace.

Jeremy got up, rolled up the paper, tied with a ribbon, and hummed a quick and beautiful melody. In a few minutes, a white dove appeared and reached the foot to Jeremy. He held the letter at the feet of the dove, patted her on the head, and let it fly, knowing that she would take the letter to his little sister and his cousins

"Thanks" He said to Ryne.

Koji turned his attention to Jeremy and listened to the melody interested. He had always liked music and noticed how kind he was to the dove. He didn't want to admit that he liked music and used to play his wooden flute for the pups of the pack. He turned his head quickly to look at the forest. "Now can we get going?". He asked and looked around for the pathway into the forest.

"Yes, of course, if everyone is ready" Said Jeremy smiling again

"Good". Koji nodded and turned his attention straight ahead.

Ryne slowly got up and lagged behind the other. He tried to catch up, huffing and puffing when he did.

Koji's ear flicked at the sound of Ryne lagging behind. He stopped and waited for Ryne to catch up. "No one gets left behind on my watch." He told Ryne and the rest of the group. He may have been a strict and somewhat of a hard ass. He still wouldn't ever leave anyone in his group or pack behind. He was bound by his honor as a warrior to protect, defend and help those who needed his help.

"Thank you Koji. It's been a trying day. Perhaps we should all find an inn to rest in?" Ryne suggested.

That's a very good idea. There is a river near here, it can be useful
