Tobias went to stand up after his latest contraction, hands traveling over his protruding middle then dropping as he pushed in his chair and grabbed his plate. Coming over to the counter where James was to empty it out, then begin cleaning it off,"They're getting closer together."He mentioned and sighed, looking out the window at the pups though he couldn't manage to hear them as well as his lover. Turning towards him and leaning against the counter, a hand resting on it as his other rubbed over his belly slowly, he could feel restless stirring from inside of him and tried to settle the unborn pups. "Have you always wanted a big family?"He asked, looking up to James.

James glances at him as he finishes putting the dishes up to dry before shrugging. "I honestly never wanted a family." He moves from infront of the sink to stand infront of Tobias, running his hands slowly over the males stomach. "I never really thought about it, always had other things on my mind. Then you came along."

Tobias didn't look surprised, just nodding in reply when James had said that,"I never thought I would have one... Well, not in this way."He said, then wrapped his arms around the other male's neck as he leant in to rest his head against his shoulder.

James runs his hands along Tobias' stomach for a few minutes before moving his hands around to run along his back. "As I said, then you came along, and I've been stuck with you ever since." James nuzzles softly against Tobias' cheek.

Tobias smiled slightly, though was soon moaning again softly as he leant into James with his eyes squeezing shut, grip tightening on the others shirt. As he tensed for the length of the contraction, then relaxed slowly again with a few heavy pants, pulling away after,"I'm going to go lay down. Rest up."He let his hand linger on his shoulder before he turned to shuffle away into the back of the cabin.

"Call me if you need me." James watches him go before he goes to check on the pups.

Tobias slept restlessly, most of the time just gripping onto the headboard and rocking himself slowly back and forth as another cramp coursed through him. He turned onto his knees and shoved a pillow between his knees as he grit his teeth and groaned out at the peak of the contraction.

James stays outside with the pups for nearly an hour or so. Over their giggling and playful growling as they wrestled he could also make out Tobias' moans and groans, part of him wanting to do nothing more than to go back into the cabin and make his pain disappear, or at least be with him, but he also didn't want to smother him too much.

Tobias forced himself up after the latest contraction, hands braced on the bed behind him as he let his low stomach sit in his lap while it contracted around to his lower back as well. He panted heavily, then arched his back while pushing himself up with a bit of trouble, grunting lightly as he moved to waddle slowly into the bathroom. The human struggled with his movement, he bit his lip and ran a hand beneath his belly to hold it gently, leaning against the nearest wall. His head resting in the crook of his arm, he whimpered softly and bent his knees slightly as he curled forwards against the archway of the door.

James continues to listen in on him, knowing when Tobias pushed himself up and slowly padded across the room to the bathroom. He had also begun timing the contractions, now all they were waiting on was for Tobias' water to break, and to ensure he was dilated completly.

Tobias had reached into the bathroom to grab an armful of towel, then moved back towards the bed as he laid them down messily onto the bed. Before attempting to pull himself onto the bed again, though stopping mid-movement to cry out into his hands as his knees buckled and he caught himself with a groan. A tight pressure low in his hips slipping through and splashing to his feet, he panted and cursed breathlessly,"James!"He called, making sure he didn't sound too worried, knowing the children could hear him just as well.

James enters the bedroom a few seconds later before coming over to Tobias, his hand running along Tobias' back.

Tobias reached to grip onto James's arm, turning into him and pressing his face into his shoulder and forcing himself to breathe for a few slow moments. He didn't speak, only groaning lowly into the fabric of his shirt and moving a hand down to hold his middle again,"I tried not to make a mess."He forced out a laugh and shook his head, shifting his legs further apart with a small grunt as he felt the shift inside of him. "Where's the pups?"

"Still outside, though I doubt they will be for very long." James runs his hand along Tobias' back for a few minutes. "They'll want to come check on their papa, James and Jasmine have already asked if they could help."

"Got that right."Tobias nodded slightly and smiled softly, he loved all of them, no matter how much they get in the way sometimes. Kids would be kids. "Help me up then... I don't want them to see mee like this."He said, moving to pull himself onto the bed with help, as he grimaced slightly and sighed,"Really?"He huffed and chuckled softly,"Guess we should get something for them to do then."He said and laid back on the bed, covering himself with a sheet.

"Like what?" James sits down on the edge of the bed as he places his hand on Tobias' stomach rubbing here and there with his thumb.

"I really don't know."Tobias replied with a small shrug, looking down to watch as James rubbed his belly and tilted his head back with a shift of his hips. "Have them look after their siblings?"He offered and moved a hand to support his back as he arched it slightlg with a small groan, gritting his teeth and turning his head as he sat through the pain.

James nods, rubbing Tobias' stomach for another minute or two before going to check on the pups once again. At some point during the evening James manages to get them all inside, bathed and calmed down for the night before making his way back into the bedroom with Tobias.

Tobias was on the floor again, kneeling on his hands and bearing down slowly at first, he felt the shift in his hips and couldn't help it. He would rather not, everything hurt and he couldn't not do anything about it, he panted softly and dropped his head onto his hands.

James makes his way over to Tobias before running his hands along his back. He kneels down beside him but says nothing as Tobias works through another contraction.
