Carsen nodded and touched his child. He wrapped his shoulder around him. His skin was so soft. He was defenseless. He kissed his head lightly, “Hey... I’m your mommy”, he whispered to his son.

James sniffled, most likely ruining the moment, “sorry”, he murmured turning away, wiping his tears.

Carsen looked at him in fright. He gently touched his arm, “James? What happened? Don’t cry...” said caring

“Nothing” he answered, “I’m just so happy for you”. He began to laugh at himself for making such a scene, “ignore me”.

Carsen smiled and gave him a small kiss on the cheek. "Thank you very much" he whispered

James blushed, he wasn’t expecting that. “It’s alright” he murmured, “oh! And while I’m at it, a bunch of things have arrived at my penthouse for you and your child”.

Carsen looked at him in amazement. The doctor picked up the baby from him to take it for examination. “You didn’t have to... That’s too much James”, he said quietly.

James shook his head, “no, you deserve it, I’m sure your life has been hard enough”, he said. “Now focus on recovery”.

Carsen smiled at him and a few minutes later he fell asleep. Childbirth was very exhausting for him. The nurse fetched the baby shortly after. “Mommy is asleep, so I give the little one to daddy” and gave the baby to James.

James’ eyes widened as he cradled the newborn, “oh, thank you”, he murmured, trying to keep quiet as the mother and baby were both asleep. He could definitely see the features that the baby shared with Carson and the others must’ve been the same as the babies biological father. He couldn’t help but smile as he used his finger to trace down the sleeping babies face and chuckled as Adrien's nose scrunched up.

The boy raised his hand slightly and waved it as he whimpered in front of his nose. Immediately after that he gently stroked his feet

James smiled down at the baby and glanced over at Carson, seeing him still asleep, he decided to message the housekeeper the news of Adriens arrival and asked her to bring some clean clothes for them all in the morning.

Story 4: Joshua

The man took the wheelchair to the balcony. His husband was on a trip. He should be back shortly before the triplets are born. The expectant mother was stressed. He was afraid he couldn’t cope with his new role. Luckily, a few weeks ago, they found someone who could take care of Josh. After all, he mostly lay on the bed and ate the size of his belly.

Hayden knocked on the door of his new patient, he wasn’t that new to the job as he usually takes care of pregnant people who need live-in caregivers. He had been instructed to knock on the door of this certain patient, instead of others who usually give a key prior to the visit - Hayden assumed it had something to do with the fact that this particular Patient was married and required extra privacy. Typically the people he worked for were single and didn’t care if he saw anything he probably shouldn’t have.

Josh took the wheelchair to the door and felt his feet and back hurt. This morning was terrible. Josh had enough. He still wore pajamas and didn’t wear makeup. He was eating dry toast when Hayden rang the doorbell. “Good Morning” greeted by opening the door

Hayden smiled at his new patient as the door opened, “good morning, do you happen to be Joshua Harvey?” He asked, making sure he was at the correct location. But judging by the wheelchair and pregnant belly, he was probably at the right place.

Josh nodded and invited him in. He allowed himself a faint smile. “I’m sorry how I looked, but I couldn’t sleep at night. I haven’t been feeling well lately”, he explained and came to the kitchen with his help.

“That’s perfectly fine and I’m sure we can find something to help you with that issue”, Hayden said, trying to reassure him. “Now that I work for you, I am to remind you of what my service is to be used for”, he said, “I am to help you look after yourself, keep you company, take you to appointments and help you around the house”.

Josh smiled slightly at Hayden. He stroked his belly. “You have good references... I hope we can come to an agreement”, he said, returning to eat dry toast, “Can you make me scrambled eggs? The eggs are high in the fridge, and I can’t reach them when I’m in a wheelchair.”

“I’m sure we will”, Hayden agreed whilst putting his bags down. He opened the fridge and got out the eggs, “of course I can make them for you”, he said, smiling. He began to prepare the eggs and tried to make conversation with his new patient, “so, how long have you and your husband known each other?”
