Alex nodded, “I was trained when I was younger before I changed my job, I can read up on my old notes to refresh my memory”.

The doctor looked at him skeptically.
"And who are you by profession?"

“I used to be a doctor but now I work for a law firm”, he replied, proud of his experiences.

The woman raised an eyebrow.
"Well... Since you are sure. We'll discharge him tomorrow if nothing happens. You can see him."

“Thank you”, Alex said before walking into Jordan’s room. He didn’t look so good, plugged into loads of machines, he was pale aswell.

“Hey baby”, he murmured into the large room, “how are you feeling?”

Jordan looked at his husband with a weak smile.
"Better, but still tired..." he whispered and touched his tummy "What did the doctors say?"

“You can come home if I remind myself how to help you give birth”, he replied, “I missed you a lot”.

Jordan looked at Alex and touched his cheek lightly.
"Oh, my dear..." he said with a small smile, "I wish we could have enjoyed this time together more."

“We can make up for it”, Alex said, putting his hand over Jordan’s, “I love you so much baby, I’m sorry I didn’t do anything whilst you were locked up”.

Jordan simply stretched his arms out in front of him to hug him.
"Stop... I want your closeness now."

Alex moved closer to Jordan and sat down on the hospital bed, he pulled his real lover into his arms and cradled him. He didn’t say anything, just enjoyed the peaceful moment.

Jordan smiled happily, then looked at his husband.
"Honey... Did... Did you sleep with Felix?"

Alex shook his head, looking horrified, “no, I knew something was different and I felt like I didn’t love him so I didn’t want to do anything like that”.

Jordan put his hands around his face.
"Sshhh... Relax. Sorry, I shouldn't have asked."

Alex smirked, “his body will never be as sexy as yours”, he murmured, turning his head to kiss Jordan’s palm.

Jordan smiled, then looked at his stomach.
"Alex? I know we didn't talk about children, but now there's no choice.... You want to raise our child with me, don't you?"

He put his hand on Jordan’s belly, “of course I want to”.

Jordan looked at Alex lovingly.
"Thank you..."

Alex leant down and captured Jordan’s lips, kissing him hard. “God I missed this”, he groaned.
