Rayne hissed as the arrow was torn from his shoulder, shredding the skin around it as the jagged arrow head was ripped from his skin. His body shuttered from the pain as the other then began to treat the wound, wrapping it tightly.

He was greatful for the blanket, when it was given, curling it around himself and his egg as he nodded. He settled down, smiling slightly as he pressed his body around his egg.

He did not know the dominant male that saved him, but for now they were both safe.
