Tobias was tense afterwards, his fingers dug into James arms as the pup beneath him squealed into life, he closed his eyes for a moment. Then moved himself to keep from squishing the baby with the weight of his body, he was happy of that at least. He didn't think he could keep going, no matter how much James had encouraged him. He was ashamed of it, but he couldn't help the fact that he was just in a state of hopelessness after what he had been through. Tobias looked up slightly when he heard the other newborn pups crying from the next room, he watched as James brought the pup up in his arms and sat back carefully on the bed.
