The still bloated male collapsed back onto the bed, his vision blurry with tears as he wrapped his arms weakly around the child. He smiled down at it and checked between it's little legs as it let out strong wet cries,"We have a boy. Another boy."He murmured, it helped him process if he could still think of the stillborn as their son, he had to or he would break down again. Just when he was going to give the small boy over to his father to be held, the door was opened by his husband. Thomas was afraid instantly, holding the squirming, wailing baby close with one arm and trying to keep Ben close with his other to no avail. "Joel! Joel, please!"He was too weak to get up from the bed, even as all the commotion woke Taylor and Bella who came over onto the bed with her father quickly. Taylor crying from her clear bassinet beside Tom's bed but he wasn't focused on that,"Leave him alone!"He couldn't do much else but scream at the men as they dragged his partner away, sobbing in defeat as he laid back against the bed. His daughter held herself to him and the babies cried for attention, but he was too exhausted to do anything any more.
