The entire room was so silent, the sound of the teacher entering had startled everyone. Jake looked at Jace with a new understanding - surprised like everybody else. He had thought Jace was the simple and quiet type, boy he might have made a serious misjudgement. He took out his books and found himself stealing glances from jace, simply looking at him scribbling on his notebook, wondering what it was that he was drawing .
