“You sure about not eating anything? Not even toast?” Maurice asked in a concerned voice as he pulled his chair closer to Nate.

“Thanks, love. But, I’m sure. I’m so nauseous right now I don’t think I would be able to keep anything down.” Nate said softly.

Nate couldn’t help but think...”Could it be? Could I be pregnant?” After all, it had been about 6 weeks since he and Maurice had consummated their marriage. And, since that day, they had had lots of sex. A LOT of sex. It was only a matter of time.

The servant re-entered the dining room with a cup of ginger tea. “Hopefully this will help with your nausea.” The servant said as he placed the cup on the table in front of Nate. “Thank you.” Nate replied as he reached for the cup and took a sip.

Nate waited for the servant to leave the room. He placed the tea cup down and turned to his husband. “Do you think...I mean..I think maybe..maybe I’m sick because I’m pregnant!? I’m not a doctor, obviously. But, I feel different. I can’t explain it.”

Despite Nate being comfortable with Maurice and knowing that Maurice would be overjoyed with excitement if, in fact, he was pregnant; for some reason..saying the words out loud made the young omega nervous.
