"What d'you mean by that?" Nick asked, his question falling on deaf ears before he screamed in pain at the force on his belly and down his canal, unable to squirm or lash out in Brad's hold. Nick wept softly, his entire body feeling as though it were on fire, too exhausted to push. He let Brad and the doctor manipulate his body to try to get the baby out, only letting out whimpers as he resigned to his painful fate.
