"Do you want to feel?" She offers, trying to distract him from the discomfort.

Gio nods, and lets Anna guide his hand.

Anna guides his hand down to the baby's crowning head. She smiles as he gets a look of amazement. "Doctor? Want to take a look?" She asks quietly.

Dr Takeda immediately takes a look. He smiles and cries tears of happiness.

"Push again when you're ready Gio," Anna encourages.

As if on cue, another contraction comes on. Gio pushes with all of his might.

"Just a couple more, just like that," she soothes.

Gio can feel the ring of fire. He takes a deep breath, and pushes again.

"Head's halfway out," she updates.

Gio keeps at it, pushing with all of his might.

"One more," she encourages, hoping he can get the head out before the contraction passes.

(Genders of babies? Do they know?)

Gio takes a deep breath, and pushes.

"Head's out Gio," she says, gently supporting the baby's head. She hopes they will bot take a look. She gently runs her fingers down the sides of baby's nose to expel any fluids.

Dr Takeda takes a look.

"Whenever you're ready Gio."

Gio nods, and when the next contraction comes on, he pushes with all of his might, though exhaustion is beginning to take over.

"Okay, there's one shoulder, just a couple more," she encourages.

Gio puts all of his strength into his next push.

"One more," she says, putting a warm, dry towel on his chest.

Gio gives it his all, and screams as the baby leaves his body.
