Alex blushed softly and looked away, shrugging. "Just... Want her safe," he defended, slipping the bottle into Rosemary's mouth, the girl guzzling it down happily.

"hmm I find that protectiveness beautiful." Martin got close and kissed lightly on Alex's cheek. He looked down at the hungry girl and said "you lucky little girl, your papa would fight dragons for your I am sure." He stroked her soft hair and smiled.

Alex sighed softly in relief, rocking Rosemary as she ate. The baby cracked open her bright blue eyes to peer up at Martin, cooing softly before closing her eyes again. "I think she knows," Alex smiled softly.

After the first week, both of them became much more familiar iwth taking care of Rosemary and they divided the job better between themselves. It was even more helpful when Alex's mother visited them, relieving even more of the responsibilities. It was always good to have some experienced people nearby.

Angela effortlessly took care of Rosemary, making Alex feel slightly inferior. He tried to push the thoughts out of his head, and was comforted when Rosemary only stopped crying when he held her.

"doing your miracle as always, i can see." coming in when he heard Rosie's cryings, Martin witnessed how the baby just instantly settled down when being past to Alex from Angela.

Alex smirked slightly, holding Rosemary so she could listen to his heart and be cuddled against him for warmth. "She likes me, what can I say?" Alex asked and Angela shook her head with a smile.

"alright with one as the professional emotional caretaker and the other as the physical caretaker, I felt like i am quite redundant here." Martin smiled referring to Alex and Angela.

Angela laughed softly and shook her head. "I can't stay here forever, can I? And even then, if she gets sick we'll be running to you like chickens with our heads cut off."

"hmm alright so I am the emergency person here. And also cook to feed those that do not rely solely on milk to survive. OK I can accept that." Martin thoughtfully concluded.

"I know. Though I couldn't deny lately I feel a little ignored. It's alright though, I fully understand how I came to be on the losing side when compared with Rosie, she is just too much of a cutie." Martin said kissing the little infant.

"I'll try to be better about paying attention to you both. It's just different with a baby," Alex shrugged, Rosemary gurgling quietly and looking at Martin when she was kissed.

"Of course. Our lives are so differnetly now with this little angel here." Martin smiled at Alex, "and I don't want you to feel even more stressed out, I know how much pressure you put on yourself already. Don't worry about it."

Martin silently snapped a shot a this. It was simply too full of love for him to want to keep it forever. He decided maybe he should purchase a decent camera to record the life of Rosemary.
