Tobias had zoned out now, rocking himself from side to side as he let out long low growls of pain, his nails dug into James's arms. Tobias had zoned out again, gripping onto James for a few more moments as he rocked himself through a contraction, though soon pulled away. "Okay... Mnnh..."He tilted his head back to rest against the tile wall around the tub,"I-I'm gonna push."He said, grasping onto the edge of the tub and leaning forwards, back arched and legs spread as wide as he could in the small tub. As he grit his teeth and clenched up every muscle in his body, bearing down hard as his face turned red and his knuckles turned white. "Argh!"He began rocking again, shaking his head and panting into his hands as he rubbed away the tears in his eyes. "Shit."He breathed out, hoping that this one was the last one, the tear from earlier burned and bled but he couldn't compare it to this feeling. There was so much pressure, he ached to even breath, he whimpered softly into his arms after shifting to press his face there and his belly visibly contracted with the pain and his own pushing again.

The baby's bottom would inch out slightly each time Tobias would push only to get stuck again. All James could do was watch him, unable to really do anything to ease Tobias' pain or help get the child out.
