Tobias looked at James as he met his eyes for those few long moments, he looked conflicted as he sat in the warm bathwater on his shins. Then nodded after a moment,"Okay."He said,"How do you want me?"He asked, grimacing and shifting forwards to hold onto the faucet.

James shrugs then. "Whichever way you think would be easier, either standing or back on your hands and knees"

Tobias nodded as he moved slowly to push himself up to his feet, he yelped quietly as he rose and leant against the tile wall for a long moment. Gritting his teeth, the human squeezed his eyes shut tightly,"Hurry."He whimpered.

James tries to be as careful and as quick as he can, it taking him a few minutes to get the baby to actually move at all. As he tries to get it into a different position Tobias finds himself gripped with another contraction, his body fighting against the baby being pushed back inside him.

Tobias cried out at the top of his lungs in the pain that he felt scorching his insides when James forced the child back inside of him. Sobbing and biting his knuckle with a choked whimper, dropping his chin to his chest as he beared down again until his face was bright in color. He gasped out and spread his legs, dropping into a squat in the shallow, warm water screaming and pushing.

With everything fighting against him James finally managed to get the baby into a better position before helping to guide it out. When it was finally free he couldn't really blame Tobias for collapsing into the tub, panting harshly as he tried to catch his breath. James quickly cuts the cord before he works on getting the baby breathing.

Tobias let his mouth hang open as he gasped for breath, resting his body against the tile wall and side of the tub, his hand went to his middle. Prodding it to feel if any more children were there, as his eyes shut and he moaned softly when he pushed the placenta out.

It takes James nearly 5 minutes to get the baby finally breathing, it's loud cries filling the room. James sighs softly before he brings the now wailing newborn over to its father.

Tobias felt tears come to his eyes as he grabbed the child almost as soon as James had finished his work to get them taking in their first breaths. "Shush, shush..."He murmured, letting his nose touch with the babies as the boy wailed loudly,"You're okay, it's alright..."He closed his eyes as the baby soon quieted into small whimpers against his chest, his beard pressed against the top of the baby's head with his chin as he rubbed at their back.

James watches them for a minute or two before he works on getting Tobias out of the tub and cleaned up before carrying him to the bed. After getting him laid down and as comfortable as he could James brings the pups up to lay with him. It was better they get accustomed to their fathers scent within the first 24 hours of birth.

The human thanked the wolf, his eyes closing as he held his children to his chest, all seven of them, small and resting soundly despite all of the screaming from earlier. Tobias looked up at James,"Climb on."He told him,"We have to think of names."

James can't help but chuckle softly before he lays down on the bed as well, lightly running his hand across each of the children's backs. "We can do that in the morning, you need to rest, and maybe I'll give you a break before breeding you again, haven't decided yet." He smirks as he speaks before glancing at Tobias.

Tobias watched as James ran his hand over his children's backs as they slept, leaning back against his chest with a small yawn and a nod,"You might be right."He sighed out, now that he thought about it, he could barely keep his eyes open now. Smiling crookedly when James said that, pressing his ass against the other's groin,"No more babies for now."He shook his head, going to sleep slowly.

James holds them all close as they sleep, taking an hour or so before he drifts to sleep as well.

The sleeping lasted for at least a week, he was tired- emotionally and physically- having five kids and taking care of seven in total was nerve wracking. His head hurt and his chest was tender and his ass was still sore from the birth, he just stayed in the cabin. He wasn't letting something like this get to him, he was always an active guy even with twenty pounds of babies inside of him or more. Tobias stood at the screen door, watching the twins play on the porch with their toys and holding James's sons in his arms as the triplets rested on the bed in the next room. The human pressed his nose to the top of one of the boy's head and closed his eyes for a moment, rubbing their backs then taking a slow, careful seat in his armchair. He was worried about his children, his mixed breed, the hybrids that he had birthed and their separate other fathers. Tobias trusted James but he just wasn't sure what he would do against the odds of the other wolf, he had a bigger pack and he was stronger in numbers. All wolves were, what would James do if the other came during the night and ambushed them. He looked down at the babies in his arms and sighed, sitting back and rocking them.

James knew all too well how real the threat was, not that he'd let Tobias know. He had caught a few different scent trails slipping in and out of his territory but he decided it best not to pursue for now. Currently he was watching a rather large deer from some bushes, waiting for it to get closer before he lunged, sinking his teeth into its neck as he uses his own weight to bring it down rather quickly. With Tobias back at the cabin and having to produce more milk by the day it was always a good idea to have extra meat in the freezer.

He wouldn't say it, but he was absolutely terrified of the thought, though he knew that he would protect all of his children with his dying breath. This time, the familiar brown wolf came and took it's time on the porch, the twins squealed at the sight of the wolf. He wasn't completely familiar, but they knew who it was. Next was him shifting and picking them up before heading into the door, ignoring Tobias all together as he went straight towards the bedroom. Laying the twins down with their three younger siblings then coming back out, closing the bedroom door behind himself.

Tobias watched the whole thing silently, lips pressed into a thin line as he watched the man breech his privacy, going to try and make it to the door before he came back. Though it was too late, he was splayed out on his back with the twins in his arms soon enough. He kept the boys close and kicked at the man, not letting them fall from his chest even as they started wailing and wiggling in his arms.

James' head snapped up instantly, the fur along his back standing on end as a low growl rumbled in his chest. The deer was forgotten all together as he raced back to the cabin. He wasn't sure what he would find, but if he got the chance he would surely kill the bastard.

When James was came back, Tobias was collecting himself again on the floor of the cabin with only one of the twins clutched to his chest. He looked distraught as he tried to quiet the boy and keep from breaking down into heavy sobs, he was unkempt and covered in fluids from the waist down. Tobias looked up at James as he came back too late to catch the other wolf,"The baby! The baby! James."He didn't try to quiet the screaming baby,"He took him, I couldn't stop him."He couldn't stop the tears from falling down his face, the other five children were taken to crying too.

James simply states at him for a minute or two as his mind pieces all the pieces together. Another growl rumbles in his chest before he shifts back to human form before carefully picking Tobias up and carrying him up to the bedroom before he begins to clean him up. After getting Tobias cleaned up he brings the pups over to him and laying them down beside him. "I'll be back, stay here, and keep the damn door locked." James makes his way to the door before pausing for a moment. "And if I don't come back, I want you to take them and get as far away from here as you possibly can." He is gone in the next second, locking the door behind him before he disappears into the forest.
