[Lovebite]

The human looked over the faces of his children the remainder of the young pups all still whimpering and reaching for him. He couldn't settle down, knowing that one of his sons was out there with that monster, he held the youngest of James's pups closest to his chest. Nodding silently when James told him the instructions, looking down with a quiet sniff and gathering up the two year olds as well. When he looked up to the silence, he saw that he was alone again with only the pups, sitting back and staring out towards the window.

The wolf saw nothing but red as he darted through the trees toward the other wolf's territory. It didn't take him long to find them as they were right on the border, waiting for him. He takes human form once again, his eyes landing on the whimpering pup in the other males arms.

The man looked at the other, adjusting the child in his arms and smiling crooked as he took a seat on a log,"Nice boy you got here."He said, there was a russle behind him and then quiet again,"Want him back?"He asked, a hand moving to wrap around the infants neck, though he didn't move as he sat back.

"Why are you doing this? What has the child ever done to you?" James glances up quickly to the bushes before letting his eyes land back on the other man. "If you want me, then here I am." He knew there were others waiting in the bushes, knew that he had a very slim chance if this came to a fight.

"It's not about the kid. It's about you and the human you know isn't yours."He told him,"I would have killed them both, but the bastard fought me tooth and nail for the other one."He looked at him for a moment, then down at the boy in his arms, he tilted his head at the baby who whimpered quietly in his arms.

"Like he belongs to you? You have no more claim on him than I do." James takes a step closer, being just on the edge of his territory now. "But who was there when he was struggling to birth your first litter?"

[Lovebite]

"That he does."The other replied and scoffed at that, adjusting the child once more as his hand flexed only slightly around the boys neck,"You don't have the upper hand here."He told him, raising an eyebrow when he said that and a breeze winded though the space they were standing off in. "Struggling? He and the children seemed perfectly fine when I had a look at them, I doubt you had much say in anything. I chose him for a reason you know."

"Then you must not have looked well enough because he was." James paused for a second before raising a brow. "And what reason would that be?"

[Lovebite]

"He's strong. If you couldn't tell, but ever since you came along he's gotten weaker."He frowned at James now, a renewed since of hate in his eyes as he narrowed them,"I'm sure if you hadn't disturbed him he would have made a way."He stood up and took a slow step towards the other,"What are you willing to do to get your son back?"He asked him.

James growls before glancing down at the infant then back at the other male. "I'd opted on killing you honestly."

[Lovebite]

He chuckled,"You can try...and you might succeed, but if you do, you won't be going back to him."He said simply, the boy in his arms squirmed and his face twisted up as he whimpered some more. Though the man's hand didn't move from it's position around his neck.

"Let him go, have one of them take him back, and I won't fight you."

[Lovebite]

He rose a brow, loosening his grip only slightly as he smirked once more,"Bring them here and you can have him back."He replied, stepping away from him,"For now, he stays."

"And do you honestly think I'm going to willingly bring them to you?" They don't even know you."

[Lovebite]

"Not my problem."He spoke,"Just get it done."He sat down again, sitting back and tilting the infant so he sat up now, he tilted his head,"What will your daddy do, hm?"He looked down at the baby.

James stood there for a few minutes, simply staring at the other male before he eventually slips back into the trees. When he does eventually make it back to the cabin he just sits down on the porch for a hour or so trying to figure all of this out.

Tobias had worked up the courage to come out of the room, he hadn't heard anything in a few hours and was getting angsty,"James?"He called, stepping out of the bedroom after unlocking it again, he held the twins and moved towards the front door. Though he didn't open it, going over to the window to look out slightly, placing the babies down in a crib in the corner. Then moving to open up the door slowly, reaching his other hand towards the rifle he kept by the door,"James."He peeked his head out some, then took a step onto the porch,"Where is he?"

"He wants James and Jasmine. I give him them and I get him back." James doesn't look at him, keeping his gaze on the ground.

[Lovebite]

Tobias looked at James,"What?"He asked as if he hadn't heard him correctly, arms folding over his chest,"I don't..."He pressed his lips together for a moment as he looked away to the woods beyond the yard, then back towards the house with a nervous swallow. "James."He stepped towards him and took a seat beside him, placing a hand on the others knee and leaning his head against his shoulder as he frowned. Knowing that there was nothing to say besides,"It's only been a week... We could... We..."He shut his mouth, leaning away from him now and biting his lip until the skin broke and he tasted blood.

"Stop that" It was easy for James to smell the blood, him cutting his eyes over to Tobias before looking away again.
