Tobias stopped, running his tongue along the marks and wiping his face with the backs of his hands,"I can't, James."He said simply, looking to the other,"I can't give them to him willingly."He pressed his lips together with a shake of his head as he looked away,"He's only a week old... They're two years old... I just..."He was close to breaking down again, but he stopped himself and looked back at the house for a moment. He had guns, yes, but he didn't have numbers. Neither of them did.

"If I fight him I'll die, plain and simple. I know he won't fight fair, he never does." James sighs before shaking his head. "But I also won't give him up willingly, any of them."

"There's no other way, James."He said to him, looking at him and looking just as distraught as before,"I won't have you die... I won't have any of you die."He said,"Please. Stay here... We can forget... We can have more. Many more."He told him, brows furrowed,"Please."He pleaded, reaching for his hand to squeeze it.

James sits there for a minute or two in silence. "Hmm, maybe he's right. Maybe being with me has made you weak."

Tobias looked at James, pulling his hand away as his eyes narrowed,"Fuck you. I'm just the same as I've always been you fucking dick."He stood up abruptly, looking down at him,"Maybe you should just fuck off then. I was perfectly fine without you hovering over me all the time. I'll save him myself since you're just a useless, good for nothing wolf. Just like their father!"He spat then turned to storm off into the cabin, slamming the door back and taking off his clothes before replacing them with cleaner ones. Mumbling to himself the whole time, grabbing his rifle and side arm, despite how painful it was to move around so suddenly he would get his son back. With or without anyone else.

When Tobias storms out of the cabin James finds himself following. When they reach the border James suddenly wraps his arm around Tobias neck, knocking the guns from his hand before leaning it close. "You have a week, then I'll come get you." After knocking the guns away James tosses Tobias over to the other wolf. "I brought you something better, keep both of them for all I care."

It took him by surprise when James had grabbed him and knocked the weapon out of his hand, he went wide eyed and reached for his sidearm that was hidden in the belt of his pants. Though struggled when James tossed him over the boundary of both territories,"No!"He stumbled and fell to his knees when he was tossed over to the wolf, looking up at him then back at James,"What are you doing?!"He tried getting up, but some of the pack members came out to grab him instantly,"James!"He kicked, the man behind him chuckled,"Good enough for me."He nodded and used the baby's hand to wave at him, then turning to disappear into the forest with Tobias, his son, and his pack members.

James watches them disappear, standing there for a few minutes before he heads back to the cabin. He checks on the pups quickly before having to make a run into town for baby formula. He tries not to think of Tobias, or the pup, he just hopes that Tobias can manage to escape within the week.

Tobias had no hope of escaping, there were too many members of the alpha's pack, he couldn't go anywhere without having a pair of eyes on him. One week passed, then two, then three, before he knew it he had spent two months in the place. He had been used and abused like he had never imagined, everyone had a go at the human, men and women equally. Soon enough he started getting sick in the morning and his stomach started rounding out, even after only two months, he was worried. How would he keep Sam safe when he could barely lift himself out of bed?

James had returned to the border a week after he had given Tobias over, but he never came. When James did eventually get around to finding Tobias he wasn't entirely sure how many months had passed, 6 he thought. He had gotten the pups put to bed before heading out. It was easier than he thought to sneak into the other alpha's territory. Now he just had to find Tobias.

Tobias was trying to get the six month old to sleep, though Sam barely even closed his eyes as he paced around the room rocking the infant. It seemed Sam knew something he didn't, the man sighed and took a seat in an armchair beside the window as he sat Sam on his lap,"What is it, bud?"He asked curiously, though the blue eyed baby didn't look to him he only looked out the window. Or tried to. "Who's out there, hm?"He tilted his head and smoothed his dark hair, then sat back with a sigh, knowing that no one was out there for him or Sam. They were alone with only his pistol that he hid under the bed months prior, it most likely didn't even work any more, it had been so long since he properly took care of it.

Manuvering through the other alpha's territory was a lot easier than James thought it would be. He stood at the edge of the trees, staring at the large cabin he had come upon, it belonged to the alpha, seeing as it was the largest. He was hidden by the shadows for now, but as Tobias' and the pups scent slowly drifted to him he found himself walking closer to the cabin.

He had lost faith in James, simply believing in only Sam and the alpha who fed them most times, the human sat in the chair with a frown on his face. Thinking of the wolf who had left him here and his lost family, he worried about them daily and couldn't seem to stop even if he knew they were in good hands. He pressed his lips together, then looked down at Sam as he brought him up to his chest and patted his back,"It's okay, bud."He said and laid his head against the babies, sighing and looking down at his rounded middle,"We'll be fine. I'll make sure of it."He tried to convince the pup, but the boy's mind seemed to be somewhere else entirely.

James makes his way closer and up onto the porch, finding himself peeking through the window. He mentally sighs when he finally laid eyes on Tobias and the pup.

Tobias stood up to his feet carefully, shifting his footing so the pressure in his hips shifted and his gait changed subtly, making it easier to walk. Though now adays it was more of a waddle than anything else. He had gotten so used to being pregnant and looking over children he wasn't sure he was himself again. Sam reached for the window as he walked him around the room, babbling quietly and leading him to look over at it. Instantly noticing James standing outside the house, he looked more surprised than anything else,"What the hell-"He couldn't stop himself from grinning, shifting the baby into one arm and going to open up the window as fast as he could.

James slips into the window silently, immediately pulling Tobias toward him nuzzling at the others neck with a low growl before he nuzzled against Sam's cheek.

Tobias stood as he watched James climb in through the window and didn't know what to do at first, so much filling his chest before he returned the embrace with his one hand. "James."He breathed, squeezing him as his eyes shut and Sam squealed happily between them both,"I missed you so fucking much."He grit his teeth to keep from crying from the emotion.

James takes the young pup after he pulls away from Tobias nuzzling him again. "I'm getting you both out of here."

Tobias let James take their son, knowing it had been longer since he had held him and watching as he held him for a moment with his hands tugging down the edge of his shirt nervously. "I... We..."He swallowed and flexed his hands,"How?"He asked finally in reply.

"I don't know honestly." James looks around as Sam nuzzles into him. "I didn't really think I'd make it this far without being caught.
