"Can we come too, Daddy?"Little James asked hopefully and Jasmine looked hopeful as well, while the human looked up at his partner with a nod,"Yeah. I'll be fine."He said and ran his fingers through the twins hair,"You should take them with you. Let them out of the cabin for a while."He said and sat back more,"Unless you want to keep them here to be my helpers."He tilted his head, then they looked torn as they looked between Tobias and James.

James chuckles softly before picking them both up and setting them on his shoulders. "So which is it going to be? Going with me or staying to help Papa until I get back?"

Jasmine thought about it, though Little James instantly said,"I wanna go with you."He said and the little girl reached for Tobias,"I'll stay with Papa. I can help him."She smiled brightly and Tobias held out an arm to her,"I appreciate that, Jazzy."He said and let her take a seat beside him again, kissing her head as she giggled softly and hugged his side.

James nods "Alright, we'll be back soon." James takes little James into the living room and puts his coat on him before they leave.

They would be gone for nearly an hour, coming back after it had already gotten dark out.

"Daddy! Daddy!"Jasmine came sprinting out of the door of the cabin then latching onto James's leg, little James ate a lollipop and held a few others for his siblings. The little girl held onto the man's leg for a moment then looked up at him,"Papa fell."She said and grabbed his hand tightly to hurry him into the cabin, it was quiet, save the small grunts that were coming out from the bedroom door. He had managed to keep the youngest pups all on the bed as he sat on the floor now, grimacing and holding his middle.

James lets Jasmine pull him into the cabin before making his way to the bedroom before kneeling down beside Tobias. "What happened?"

Tobias huffed and panted still, grimacing and attempting to push himself up again, until he saw James and sighed,"I wanted to get up. I think I over estimated myself."He looked down and shook his head as he reached for the nightstand now to try and push himself up to no avail. Jasmine looked at him worried and tried helping her father up to his feet again, but Tobias knew she was too small to do any help though smiled at her softly,"You've helped Papa enough, sweetie. Let Daddy do some work now."He kissed her head and reached for James now with a sigh.

James stands again before taking Tobias' hand, his other arm sliding around Tobias' waist as he helped him to his feet, holding him for a minute or two until he can get his balance. Even after he did James kept his arm around Tobias' waist seeing as the other male was practically laying against him.

Tobias stood up to his feet carefully, panting softly as he was helped up and holding onto James's arm, getting used to being on his feet. Though he was still was leaning his weight onto the wolf beside him,"Once I drop these, I'm going to get back into hunting again and trying to find us a new home."He said, looking up to James and then glancing back slightly as he reached for the bed to lower himself down onto it again. Careful of the pups playing and resting on the sheets of it,"I don't think I want to do this for a while after they come."

James helps Tobias lower himself down as he nods. "I do have something I want to try first." James disappears then before coming back with a box in his hand. He laid it down on the bed before opening it up and looking through it for what he needed. He eventually pulled out an ultrasound scope before pulling his phone from his pocket and turning to Tobias. "Let's see how many more we need to prepare for."

Tobias thanked James as he leant back on his wrists and closed his eyes as he let his round middle rest in his lap, turning his head to look over the pups as the older ones played with the newborns. He looked apprehensive of it, but it seemed they knew not to be too rough with them and the newborns didn't seem to mind anyway as they batted at their siblings with their paws and yelped at them. The human sighed and looked up at James curiously when he came back,"Does that really work?"He asked curiously and reached with his free hand to rub it over his middle, tugging up his shirt.

"One way to find out." James hooks it up to his phone before placing the scope on Tobias' large middle. He watches the screen for a minute or two before his lips curl into a smile. "That's one."

Tobias looked at James's face as he hooked up the portable ultrasound, tilting his head slightly and raising a brow when he seemed to see something. "What? It works?"He asked and looked towards the phone,"Lemme see."He urged and sat forwards slightly.

James hands the phone to Tobias. After a few moments Tobias is finally able to make out the form of a baby's head.

Tobias looked shocked, he had never been one to go to the doctors, let alone for any of his pregnancies, not like he had time to anyway. He grinned softly and reached to hold onto James's wrist and move the wand around slightly, his eyes widening even more at the sight of multiples. He never envisioned it like this before,"Three... Five... Seven..."His heart was thudding and he quickly handed the phone back to James, getting nauseous from all the excitement,"Oh, god."He muttered and shook his head, resting a hand on his middle.

James takes the phone back before laying both it and the scope down on the bedside table before he places his hand over Tobias' own.

"How could I even fit ten inside of me? That's...ridiculous."He shook his head, barely taking notice of James's hand as it rested on his own, his mind was in a different place entirely. "Holy shit..."He breathed and covered his face with his free hand as he sat up, rubbing his eyes and tilting his head back. "Twenty three kids..."He bit his lip where there was beginning to be some scarring and broke the skin again, turning his head and moving a few of the pups out of the way as he moved to lay against the pillows of the bed again. "We can't support that many kids."He said, then looked to James.

"We can, and we will, somehow." James himself wasn't sure how exactly they were going to support that many but he also wasn't about to give any of them up so they would figure it out, somehow.

Tobias laid his arm over his face and went silent until he felt a pup climbing onto him when he was finally at their level,"Pa!"Sam sat on him and he moved his arm to look at him, a smile making it's way to his face again as he wrapped his arms around Sam and hugged him to his chest,"Hey Sammy."He then looked towards the other pups, Little James climbing onto the bed with his hand full of candy that he had brought for his siblings. Jasmine was already eating some at his feet and James handed some to Sam and his twin, Peter, who were sitting on Tobias.

They all cuddle up with Tobias while eating their candy. James going to put everything away.
