Tobias stirred only when James moved from behind him to tend to packing everything up again after the night was over, the human hummed as he awoke. Feeling the movement of the pups around around and over him, he smiled softly as he opened his eyes,"Morning to you too."He murmured to them and picked a few of them up in his free arm to kiss their heads softly with an exhale,"Where did Daddy go, hm?"He asked them and Sam answered him,"Truck!"He giggled and sat on his fathers lap as Tobias nodded, knowing he was stuck here without help as he sat back against the counter.

James finished getting everything loaded up with Jasmine and little James help and they were driving again by noon, the pups keeping themselves occupied in the back of the truck.

It took a week for them to be across country, finally stopping deep in the rural area of a scarcely populated area and deciding to take up residence in what seemed like an abandoned cabin. It was bigger than their last place and was just a bit more of a work in progress, but it would do for now. They could make it their own, and the pups seemed to like how much land came with it too as the ones who could jump out of the back of the truck themselves did. The others whimpering after their siblings and nudging at Tobias's legs as he was still attempting to push himself up to his feet with the girl, he had named Terra in his arms. "Hold on. Hold on. I'm coming."He murmured to them and stood up with a soft groan, moving towards the end of the truck and stepping down carefully as he grasped onto the side of the truck.

James took a look around and inside the cabin before allowing Tobias or any of the pups inside. After deeming it safe enough he began to look over and see everything that needed fixing as the pups ran around and played in the yard.

Tobias sat on the porch with some of the more restful sixtuplets and Terra in his arms as he looked around curiously to take everything in. Wondering if this was it, their new home for how ever long they needed it to be, he looked up towards the front door that needed to be repainted or just replaced in general. Waiting for James to come back out for him to ask,"What do you think?"

"It's going to take some work but the sooner I get started the better." James takes a seat beside Tobias before leaning over to lightly kiss Terra's head before turning to watch the other pups play.

"You mean 'we'."He corrected with a small smile, watching as he kissed the girls head and stroking her hair gently before giving her his pinky to grab. She didn't sleep that often, taking the chance to watch every new thing that went on around her with big blue eyes. He kissed her small hand as it grasped onto his finger and then let their noses touch as he nuzzled her gently. Then looked up as well to watch the happy children play amongst themselves while his head leaned against the other's shoulder,"Can't wait for them all to be hating each others guts when they're teens."He joked playfully.

"I mean me, you have enough to deal with, not to mention your still recovering." James continues to watch the pups play for a while before chuckling softly at Tobias' last statement. "Joy."

"Fair enough."Tobias replied and smiled softly as they sat on the porch, knowing that soon their lives would get crazy with the pups growing up and the new house. They both had some things to think about,"So...what's the plan? Besides fixing up the place and getting situated."He said,"Should we have a story we tell people in town? Or should we avoid it altogether?"He asked him, looking up slightly,"Should we send them off to public school? Should we get jobs?"He sat up when Terra started whining and laid her against his shoulder, rubbing her back gently with a quiet shush.

"We'll figure that all out later." James shrugs before getting up to head into the cabin to look around again.

Tobias's brows furrowed slightly, he thought it would be best to talk about it now, but apparently he wouldn't be getting anything out of James for now. "Alright."He murmured and ran his fingers through Terra's hair, then laying her down on his lap carefully, looking towards the pups who sat beside him and scratching behind their ears.

James does some more inspecting on the cabin before coming back out and taking a seat beside Tobias. "What were you thinking?"

Tobias shrugged as he looked up at James, he was in the middle of playing with the youngest pups who stayed close to him,"Jobs. School. Just a lot of things we have to go over."He replied, fingers being grabbed by the baby's who laid in his lap,"A story for nosy neighbors would be good to have too."

"They're all adopted and wanted somewhere away from the city to raise our kids. We'll figure out school when they get a little older, teach them the basics ourselves and let them be kids for a while. And I'll see about a job when we get settled"

Tobias pressed his lips into a thin line when James mentioned telling people that the children were adoptive, though he knew it was a smart assumption. "Like foster parents?"He asked and nodded in agreement,"Yes I think that'll work."He replied and laid his head on James's shoulder once more, moving Terra to sit between them both,"I could hunt and sell the furs like I used to. Just for a few years. I think I'm done being a broodmother for now."

"Better be careful what you say." James glances over at him, smirking slightly. He turns his attention back to the pups, watching them for a bit before everyone settles down for the night, deciding to get started in the morning with repairs.

The fertile human had made it about four years, or three and a half, until he slipped up on telling the wolf to pull out on the same eve he had forgotten to take his suppressants. Half way through one of their regular sessions they had after putting the pups to sleep he had gotten so caught up in the moment, he was aching to be filled. Six months after that, he was showing plainly and couldn't head into town in caution of having anyone notice the prominent swell sticking out before him like a sore thumb. Though he kept hunting for as long as he could, even well into the pregnancy when he had grown to the point where he could barely stand for long periods of time. Tobias still took himself and the oldest children out with him to train them how to hunt, some of them hadn't adopted the wolf trait from their fathers but he would make sure they didn't fall behind or struggle. Even with seventeen children, he made sure he gave them as much attention as was physically possible without being two separate men.

By the time they are a year old the pups are able to take on a completly human form or either a complete wolf form, James teaching them to switch between each form at will and to gain control. When Tobias wasn't teaching them how to hunt he would teach them their basic Abcs and 123s, making sure they could read and write as well.

Only two children weren't able to turn, Tobias didn't know what to think of it but decided it was fine enough that they were just as healthy as their wolf-like siblings. Soon the gang was heading back towards the cabin, the pups, now full fledged fluffy wolves who could all drag a few small rabbits by themselves. He watched them as they hopped ahead of him and he waddled slowly after them through the fallen leaves of the forest towards the cabin. It still needed more than a few repairs and paint jobs, but it was home. "James?! We're back!"He called, helping the children along up the steps of the back porch gently.

The cabin was silent, Tobias not hearing anything for a minute or two before the other pups come in from the back, coming over to hug Tobias before playing with the others.
