"That confident already?" Martin smiled. Pancakes were on the menu and it was decided as today's challenge. They settled on the couch while waiting, this time Alex had been alright with the tea and showed no sign of sickness so far.

Alex settled easily on the couch, pulling his legs up and crossing them beneath himself and resting his belly in his lap. It wasn't big enough to do it properly, but would in the coming months.

"Wow you are prepared for prenatal yoga arent you? Idnt that a classic position?"

"I don't know anything about yoga, Martin, it's just comfortable."

[bhdire8]

"I think you got great potential in it." Martin smiled. As the pancakes came in, he observed carefully if Alex showed any signs of discomfort.

Alex began to eat the pancakes slowly, easily finishing them after a few minutes.

"Thats really great Alex! Now I would say you are quite ready to be dismissed." Martin tugged some stray hair behind Alex's ears, ruffling his locks commending him.

Alex smiled at the praise and the possibility of dismissal, relaxing at the hands in his hair.

Alex's slight lean into Henry's palm and his happy expression warmed.Henry's heart. He was sure he wojld felt empty without Alex as his in-patient. Coming to visit him and motivated him at work.

"So I presume you would wait for your parents' visit to check out? Will that be before or after lunch?"

"Probably before, my mom will want to have me out of here as soon as possible. Means I'm okay, and hospitals sorta freak her out," Alex shrugged with hands cupping his belly.

"Ok I will alert of the nurses of the arrangement. They would come pick you up right?" Martin said seriously. He wouldnt let Alex go alone. "One more thing. Do I need to sign a medical certificate as proof for you sick leave?" Knowing the father of the child was from the same company, Henry wanted to be sure everything was air-tight to avoid any possible trouble for Alex.

"Yeah, they'll come get me," Alex nodded. "I'd like it if you did. It'd be easier to get it pass my boss."

"Alright I will meet you again when you take your leave then. Will get you the certificate by then." Martin got up from the couch.

Alex nodded, sad to see Martin go. He wanted a relationship with the man, even if he knew so little about the man.

Martin returned during the cheching out and greeted both parents. He waited until they were both away settling the paperworks and they are private alone to hand Alex the certificate. "This is the document for you. And erm.... i have taken some leaflets on those yoga class i am mentioning to you. And erm...." martin scratched his chin and got a slight blush on his cheekd. "If you wanted somebody to accompany you, i could." He then turned away, extremely embarassed with himself.

By then, Alex was already fully clothed in a loose shirt and maternity jeans. He took the papers, smiling and blushing softly at the offer to come with him to prenatal yoga. "I'll hold you to that," Alex smirked, rubbing the swell of his belly as Rosemary shifted inside.

"Good, good." Martin was quite thrilled at having his offer partially accepted. "Great outfit by the way. Suits you more than the stiff suit I would say."

"So... I would see you in the next appointment in a week?" They usually rearrange the appointments at a later time for patients that have had been admitted. In this case, however, the doctor was the one not wanting to do the rescheduling. He didnt want to delay any chance of meeting him again.

"It's much comfier," Alex smiled, confirming the appointment for the next week before leaving with his parents.

The week had past agaonizingly long. Martin had texted Alex a few days ago to ask about his wellbeing, and a simple "fine thanks" reply had him at a lost as to how to continue the conversation. Nonetheless, today was the day of the appointment and his heart raced as he heard that knock on the door announcing Alex.

Alex entered the office, smiling at Martin as he settled across the desk from him. He looked much better, his face having a healthy glow, wearing normal attire after taking Martin's comment into consideration.
