"Maybe so you can find the way to your true home," the elder said simply knowing Wolf would soon find out the great blessing he carried withing him, yet it was still to early for the young man to notice.

Luke stared at the trail. "Yea. I mean he wasn't too clever at covering his trail before..." he grabbed a flashlight off Jon before leading the way, the sounds of Jon's and his own men nearby, though they were all dazed and confused than they were at trying to go another round. After noticing several spots in the forest, from small prints in the ground to a few branches swayed off their usual course, he emded up finding a village a distance away from where him and Jon were.

Wolf looks away"that's here now wise one. I have no where else to go. I will work hard to live in this town"

"Do you think he is there?" Jon asks seeing the village in the distance "Do you think he...saw us?" he asked as they walked to village.

"you dont look at me young one, cause you know I speak truth, you are welcome here, but you will never call t his place home," he moved the hand of his bad shoulder to his stomach, it could be seen as simply him placing his arm in a better position but the elder knew better.

Wolf closes his eyes "my place is here I have no where else to go wise one. My hopes and dreams are but dust in the wind now"

the elder chuckled "young one, your hopes and dreams are just starting, nothing has been yet thrown to the wind," he said quietly.

Jon arrived in the village and as he said his name was Jon Befort he was taken as the villagers thought him to be some kind of traitor to his home and took him as a prisioner. A messenger took the news to the leader and it soon reached the old healer who was still tending to wolf allowing Wolf to know as well.

Wolf is shocked and conflicted about what to do "what are they going to do to him, wise one?"

"keep him prisioner, if he is found guilty of treatchery of wich you have told he has towards you, we might sell him off to slave traders, or he might be put to death, we dont like treatchery of any kind young one," he said exagering what would happen to Jon, knowing Wolf cared for the man.

[Okamiryun]

Wolf looks down. "He betrayed me and yes let the traitor go but he is loyal to his country at the least. Surely they won't kill him for what he has done to me! You all bearly even know me!"

[bluegreen]

"But you are part of us now, it matters little how long we have know you," the healer said

[Okamiryun]

Wolf sighs and gets up. "I can't let him die just cus of me. No matter how badly he hurt me he shouldn't have to die for it"

[bluegreen]

The healer smiled "remember what I told you, Im sure this young man is not that bad," he said giving him his things.

[SRuiz]

Luke shrugged. "Unless you know of any good reason why he would fake his death and run off into uncharted territory..." watching as Jon headed into the village first, Luke stayed behind, pulling out his binoculars. The people appeared hostile as they took Jon in and basically roughed him up. "Time to stick to the trees..." he climbed another tree, getting a better view of the village. Just because his non lethals were not on him did not mean he did not know several ways of taking out hostiles. He jumped into another tree, blending with nature and sound around him.

Wolf looks away"I thought the same till I saw him with some one else. I know he was others before me so what's to stop him from finding others after me?"

(( Due to unforeseen events, I will continue as both Jon and Luke. It is not too late for anyone else to join and it would help out a lot. You could fill in for Jon as either him or using someone else. Not sure what Blue would have wrote, but I hope it helps. ))

The healer only smiled. "This forest has some strange effects to those not accustomed to it. I'm certain he did not mean to hurt you as nature is only running its course. Now what about this traitor?"

Wolf sighs "he is why we came here it was our mission to catch and return the traitor for justice but Jon let him go"

The healer giggled a little. "A traitor and you're after him? Perhaps your friend saw something redeeming about him. He's here looking for you both after all" he could sense a few things. Life of most forms was one of them.

[Okamiryun]

Wolf is confused "both of us? Luke is here too?" He sighs and walks out

The healer sighed. Jon was in the village for now and Luke was in the trees, moving stealthily around to avoid being caught. The village was by all means peaceful, but it was also treacherous. He figured Wolf would see it all on his own.

Wolf goes to Jon " why couldn't you just leave me be?"
