Dimitri nodded slightly before he started to follow Halo. "Yeah...Okay." He said managing a small smile. "I'm not sure when he'll be here exactly though...He said it could be as early as tonight. Although, he did look a bit weak. He'll probably give us a bit while he gets to full power and the like." He said thinking it over. "Whenever he does come I'll be of little use in helping...I have no claws or actual abilities...I'm not the greatest in combat." He sighed as he tucked some hair behind his ears while they walked.

Dante yawns and starts for his room. Smelling smoke. "Uh... ah S*** Dragon!" Dante runs to his room and the room is in flames. Dragon tackles him. "Dragon! You made fire? Wonderful!" He smiles then shakes his head. "Ah crap Halo will be up my ass..." Dante lets Dragon onto his head and looks around and pulls out his staff and conjunctures a orb that sucks in the flames. "Dragon wonderful. Wonderful! But lets practice outside okay?" He smiles, his Dragon is starting to mature finally, and he is happy.

Halo smiled at him, "Ah, but that is untrue, you have warned me of an imposing threat and that is a great advantage. I'll admitt I do not like to harm anyone, but I am a reaper and when my instincts kick in, when I release who I am, then I'll have to trust someone to see that the guest here are protected. I'll need someone to reign me in so to speak, by doing something that will be extremely painful to me, and yet I also need to know that that person will not use it against me. Blackheart reapers are unqie in a way that is near impossible to explain".

Dimitri sighed softly and tucked the pendant under his shirt to rest on his chest. He then walked out of Halo's office and went to the kitchen to make something for breakfast, hoping to keep his mind off of Constantine for now.

After a small breakfast of an apple and a muffin, Merihim wandered about to get the lay of the mansion. He soon made his way to the library. "What an interesting collection." He mused as he scanned the shelves. As he walked the rows of books he stopped to pull out some medical literature to look through at a table.

Ezra was on his bed looking out the window, watching a bird hop about from branch to branch in a nearby tree. He smiled lightly as he looks to his children, watching them sleep soundly. He had fed them a bit earlier and they were now napping.

The vine stopped and curled away from deaths feet, in a sudden puff of smoke a young man appeared, he was small, very pale save for the black ivy like tatoos and wasit long hair, he was nude and he blinked at Death with black eyes. "Master Halo would not like it if I stabbed you, you are a guest", he spoke in an emotionless tone, though his face was curious. "How did you know I was staring at you?", he reached forward and tuched Deaths face with sharp pointed black nails.

Merihim smiled as he flipped through various medical texts. "Hmm, interesting indeed." He mused as he scribbled down notes to be transferred to his book later. When he was content with his findings he picked up all the books and returned them to their proper places. Glancing around the library he decided to tidy the place up a bit as well. "There we go, much better." He grinned as he stepped back to look at the more orderly room. Tucking the notes into his pocket he left the library to find random things to do.

"There he is", Briar pointed to the reaper who was standing in the garden looking out into the darkness. "Master Halo", he called and the reaper looked at him. "You're the one that I can;t get a read on, death ivy that has taken form because of my energy. What are we to do with you little one/", he ask as he looked the young man over, he looked around eighteen or so, he was in essence a very power death plant but he was now embodied. He didn't seem harmful, but that didn;t mean he was harmlss, dispite the innocence that seemed to radiat from him.

Briar had stopped because he was now confused, he looked between the two.

Halo had appeared finally, he found the argueing somewhat amusing, "Now, now, calm down the both you, please. You are after all confusing the little one here", he grabbed the whip from Briar's hand. "Sorry little one, but since my energy still resides in you, I can;t let you use this whip, it is after-all a less powerful but still dangeous form of a scythe".

Dante walks back inside and takes out the papers he took from the library and starts to search for a hidden vault that is somewhere near Halo's Master Room. As he searches he finds an oddly placed picture adjacent from Halo's door. It is a picture of what Dante believes to be his family. The picture is almost as long as the length between the floor and ceiling. But the picture is lift from the wall slightly as if there was something behind it. He looks both ways before going to look behind it.

Maddie is hiding behind a indoor tree that is not far from Halo's room. He looks at the weird man and the Dragon. His straw hair is covering his button eyes. He quivers as the Dragon looks around puffing smoke. He curls down to not detected.

Davin kissed the vampires mouth gently, “How about you give me a place to start, ask me whatever you’d like to know and I’ll tell a little bit in turn”, he said, then finished where he had left off. “It took Halo two days to find the antidote and he was even considering of riding the gardens of those plants. But I could tell he adored them and it would hurt him to do so, when he’d worked so hard on them, and since Nighter had half of Halo’s blood, the vines weren;t a threat to her and noone else lived here, so I convinced him to keep them. I regretted it instantly”, he laughed, “Halo would sick them on me when I was being to bothersome or in his words, perverted. And Nighter’s faviort place to play her games where in the gardens, so I pretty much got used to having to take that bitter potion many times”.

Halo bit his lip to keep from laughing, as much of a danger that the human posed, he was amusing. 'What he must thnk of all those key holes', he wondered with a smirk.

Cherry looked at Ink, "I lost count, how many more to go?", he chuckled.

Davin snorted, "Oh no he didn't come after me with a newspaper. When we first met, well we were betrothed so we didn't actually meet until our bonding day. Anyway I was pleased, because Halo is good looking and all, but to me as young as was then, and being the first of our kind to marry a reaper, well he was the most exotic creature I had ever laid eyes upon. He however looked like he was about to use his scythe on me. He wasn't exactly happy, but me I was in lust, I feel in love later", he laughed again and shook his head. "we didn't actually consumate our bond until nearly a season later. Halo's words to me that night were and I quote 'touch me and I'll spilt you into eighths and step on every last part of you until you cannot be distingushed from the dust'. Of course he was serious so I left and he locked me out of our chambers. I slept in the hall", he kissed Echo's nose once again, "I'm lucky that you aren't as difficult and that you actually love me. So whats your next question doll?".

Davin tilted his head back, "Hmm, when he told me about him being pregnant with Nighter. Well I remember that Halo punch me in anger and screamed, "You asshole, I'm pregnant, it was only that one time".Me I was pround of myself and excited, really excited, but then I saw how scared Halo looked and how lost and all I could think about was how much of an ass I really was, I hadn;t even ask him if he wanted a kid and he still didn;t love me and was planning to break our bond just the nest season. So serectly I was happy that he was pregnant because it met he would have to stay", Davin frowned, "I just cared about keeping him with me, but seeing that expression, I knew that I should just be excited because he was having a baby for me. That was one of the few times he let me comfort him, and I could tell that he already lovedour baby dispite how scared he was. Thats one thing I feel in love with about him, he cares infintely about every living thing and that was why he had bonded with me, to keep his people and mine protected, that when I decided to stop being selfish".

Cherry keep urging Ink to push and he smiled when he saw Luna up and kneeling by the kits.

Davin nodded, "Halo will always have this special place in my heart, I did love him and a part of me always will, but I think he must have known I'd find you someday and thats why he refused to even pretend to share the same feelings I had, he wouldn;t when he knew he could return them". He rubbed the vampires belly. "I named Nighter after she was born, well sort of, that is when I woke up and actually got to meet her", he laughed, "I told Halo that I thought she looked like a nightime flower with her pale skin and black hair. Halo said that Nighter Dahlia fitted the meaning perfectly and that because he liked the idea so much, he wouldn;t reap my ass for passing out and leaving him alone to give birth. I promise though I'll be awake for this little one."

Halo smiled at Madie, "Hello dear, you've changed quite abit", he nodded to Dante, "He thinks he'll get into my archives", he laughed uitely and shook his head.

ink nodded and shifted to his panther. he took the kits one by one and cleaned them as the placenta worked it's way from his body. he would clean the kits then set them by his stomach to feed.

echo sighed and snuggled. "going by my size right now and how fast i am growing, how much longer do you think we have before we meet this little one?" he rubbed his belly that looked about 6 months.

Cherry had moved to check his sister over more properly, happy that she wasn;t hurt and that she didn;t seem upset by haveing gotten on the vampires bad side.

Davin shrugged, "I'm not sure, about a month, maybe less possibly", he answered.

Briar tilted his head, more hair falling into his pale face and in a curtian around him and the other as he pused himself to sit on his knees. "I enjoyed it very much, and to feel you so intamentily was wonderful", he smiled a genuine smile, "I feel very different then before, why is that, Death?"

Halo reached a hand to turn the door handles to his room, and gasp as he pulled his hand back as if it had been burned, which it had in a sense. Upon a closer look he noticed something that shouldn;t have been there. "I wonder who put that there?", he mused as he bent closer to inspect it.

Halo nodded at the other man as he stuck a finger into his mouth, he pulled the digit out slowly. "So it would seem. Whatever for is completely beyond me however, there is nothing in my chambers that I consider extremely important, so I do not leave my chambers locked. He pulled a white cloth from his pocket and wiped the handle. "Its odd that someone would know what to put upon the handle, especially since it is something that I am alone personally allergic to", he held the cloth between the tips of his fingers showing the cooper color that had stain the cloth. He then turned and opened the door walking inside and into his bathing chamber where he grabbed a vile of oil to heal the burn on his hand. He frowned in thought, eigther it was a prank or a diliberate attempt to hurt him, but who had done it and why, he didn't know, but he wasn;t about to unjustly accuse anyone eigther, he'd just have to be more vigilante in the future.

Dimitri was out in the gardens tending to some flowers. He whistled lightly as he watered them, a small smile on his face. The work kept his mind off of the potential danger for the moment. As he was finishing a light howl, followed by several others, made him stop and turn around. His eyes frantically scanned the forest in front of him. "Shit. They can't be coming now...You'd think there'd be more time...." Dropping the hose he ran back inside to find Halo so he could warn him. They wouldn't have long before a group of lycans would be circling the house. So, they needed to work fast.

Constantine and a group of twenty other lycans were currently making their way through the forest. They were spread out and moving fast and were still around the outer parts of the woods.

Halo gave a single nod before flipping the patch upward and dragging the sharp nails of his fingers over the uncovered glowing eye and down his cheek where black blood bloosmed to the surface and covered the tips of is fingers. He then raised that hand into the air as he summoned his scythe. The chain wrapped around his arm as the thin black barfeel into his hand. He looked at Dimitri with a hard grin as he turned to the door. "Please forgive me, I'm going to seal you in this room for now", he walked out of the door and his laughed harshly, as he placed his bloody fingers on the door, "Do yo have any... objections", he ask with a un-Halo like smirk.

Dimitri watched as Halo "transformed". It scared him slightly, but he knew he was doing this to protect his house and guests. He then blinked when he left the room and stated that he was going to seal him into his room. "What?...Why are you sealing me in here?" He asked, somewhat confeused.

Constantine was growing closer with each passing second. They were all in lycan form, ready to have a bit of "fun". They were nearing the halfway point and sped up a bit.

Dimitri bit his lip and took a step back. "N-no..." He said shaking his head. He wished he could help, but he knew he would have nothing to offer. "Go ahead then." He said with a light sigh.

Ezra heard his children crying along with Fae's meows. "Oh, what's wrong little ones?" He asked as he slowly got out of bed. As he checked on them a slight chill went down his spine. Ignoring it he picked up his twins and proceeded to check their diapers and such.

Merihim felt a chill go through his body. "Oh my, I wonder what's going on." He mused as he wandered through the house.

Constantine was now nearing the edge of the woods. He let out another loud howl to announch their arrival. "Alright my friends, it's nearly time for us to have our fun. My dear little Dimitri better be ready." He growled, unaware he would not be able to get to him.

Dimitri sighed again as he watched Halo slam the door shut and leave. He then turned around and sat down cross legged on his bed. His eyes drifted to the window to see if he could spot anything.



Ezra looked down at Fae when he hissed. Soon he understood and held his children close as he sat on his bed. "I will do anything to protect you two. I hope Halo has a hold on things." He said as he curled up slightly with them. His energy was not yet one hundred percent, but he would attack anything if need be to protect his children. When he heard Echo go around telling people to leave their room, he stood once more. He then made his way to the room that Echo was directing people to.

Constantine and his group started to emerge from the trees, slowing down as they started to circle the house. His twenty companions were getting ready to rush in and cause as much chaos as they pleased while Constantine walked ahead of them. He could see the death vines start to ready their own defending attack, but he ignored them. "I told you I'd be back Dimitri. Now, come out and show yourself! I miss having my fun with you." He chuckled as he called out to the house.

Davin looked around at the various guest, making sure that everyone seemed to be there. He saw Death and Briar, Cherry, Luna, Ink, and the panthers kits. He didn't see Dimitri, but figured that Halo had possibly saw to putting the shape shifter were he wouldn;t be in danger or endanger anyone else by make the most obvious target. He only hoped that if Halo was in control enough to do so, that he styed in control enough that he didn;t loose himself completely to is reaper instint. He moved to where his mate was and drapped his jaket around his shoulders.

Perhaps I'll allow you and your pathethic minions to live if you show yourself. Come now, do not be so cowardly", he stood, scythe poised by his side, hanging from its chain ina postion that would send it forward with only the flick of Halos wrist.

Ezra sat with his twins, curled slightly as he kept them close. "Shh, it's okay. Daddy won't let any one hurt you. If they even think about it, I'll freeze them from the inside out." He said quietly, trying to calm them as they whimpered and fussed.

"I see." Constantine said as he looked over the reaper in front of him. His lycan followers stood their ground, not wanting to really mess with the man but, they did not want to disobey Constantine either. "Well, I didn't come all this way for nothing. I'll just have to work my way to him then." He said as he stepped closer.

Halo grinned pleasantly, "Oh yes, please do come closer", he had began to swirl the chain, and the blades on the black pole rose, the blades gleaming in the moon light and making a loud whossing sound.

Constantine chuckled lightly and shook his head as he took a stance. The other lycans were gradually making their way around the house while he spoke with Halo, being weary of the ever creeping death vines. A few were already being chased off by them. "I'll take that as a challenge. Let's see what you got reaper boy." He growled, fangs beared as he got ready to fight.



(Meh, I'm not great with combat scenes and the like so this may or may not last too long. People can feel free to do what they want with the other twenty lycans. I'm not controlling 'em all at once. xD )

Halo just offered a saccarine sweet smile, his death smile as some called it, "It amuses me that you think you and your friends pose a danger, you do not after all intimadate me, and though I try to avoide taking life, I am a reaper and I will do as I must to protect those who reside here. Besides its been so long since I've added any life reels to my archives", he spotted a lycan that had decided to charge at him from behind, and he swung the scythe in a backwards arch, cutting off a limb with the curved blade. He smirked as he watch the lycans stunned expression as black like fog seemed to consume him then disappeared into the black hour-glass pendent around his throat. "That is a mild example of what I can do", he assured Constantine with a cold grin. He gave a side glance to Dante, "I should ask you what brings you out here?", he returned to the other males question.

Some of the other lycans were doubting this adventure as they watched their friend disappear in front of them. A few hesitantly stepped back, ready to head home. Constantine growled back at them. "Cowards! Go on, leave then you unloyal fools." While Halo was addressing the other man he turned around and proceeded an attempt to attack him while he was "distracted".

Dimitri nodded again. "I see. That's interesting." He mused as he brushed some hair out of his face.

Halo turned when he felt something stab threw his shoulder, he looked down and frowned. "A foolish move little dog", he growled as he looked up. He grabbed the bar of his scythe and swung the cahin, winding it around the leaders throat. "I'll give you all the choice of turning back and leaving this realm with your lives, stay and I will take it a declaration of your acceptence into the black abyss known as death", he let the chain slacken so that it feel from the leaders throat. "The offer stands, make your decision now. He ripped a hole in the veil with his blade, then settled the curved blade back under Constantines throat, all in a matter of seconds.

Dimitri stood from the bed and took a seat on the floor closer to the door. "Er...Well, he's probably still pissed about the fire incident." He said rubbing the back of his neck. "I was tired of his shit and tried to get away. When that didn't work, I burnt him down with the house. Apparently he survived. It was a stupid decision." He said with a sigh, remembering the night he snapped and left the lovely scars across his back. "He's gone off the deep end and wants to drag me back to do God knows what with me."

Halo watched a few lycans retreat, and he used his chain as whip to strike the ones that tried lunging at him. He then wrapped the chain tightly around constantines body and dragged the nails of his free hand over his left eye once again, he then placed his bloody fingers on the handle of his sycthe and the chain began to turn a deep black. He looked at Dante, "You're more then welcome to help, but make no mistaes, I created the viel, I will protect it", he hissed when he saw the crosss, then grinned sadistally as he looked the other male in the eyes, his bleeding eyes accessing him. "Unless you feel guilty about illing that forest and leaving a crack in the viel in which these creatures came". He placed the razored tip of the end of his scythe at the others chest. "Friend or foe little necromancer?"

Davin tried not to panic, and willed the black dizzness away. "Just breath babe, in and out, he who, he who", he imatated.

Davin swept Echo into his arms and carried him to the leather couch that was in the room, "Is this better babe, I hope so, Halo puts these couchs everywhere", he added with a chuckle. He was worried, his mate was in labor, and from the sudden drop in temperature he knew that something had upset Halo emmensly, and that frightened him.

Halo didn't scream even though the blade burned as it knicked his heart. He was angry however and the temperture in the veil dropped with his angered energy. His hair flew around his face in response to the energy and he turned swiftly, striking the female lycan with the blade of his scythe into her chest. "My way of returning the favor you b*tch", his voice had deeped and was to frighteningly serious and hard tenor.

One of his followers looked up at Constantine as he backed up some more. "Come on man, this really isn't fun any more. Why don't you just let Dimitri go? I'm sure you'll have pleanty of chances to run into him if you just leave." He said trying to be sensible, not wanting to meet his end as well.

Constantine's body lay lifeless as the fog engulfed him, making him disappear to never be seen again. No other lycans remained. Those with common sense left while they could and a few that stayed had succomed to Halo's death vine.

Dimitri smiled lightly as he felt a sort of weight lift off his chest in a sense. "I-I think he's finally gone." He stuttered slightly as he continued to shiver. The inside of his irises were starting to turn a light blue, the outer parts still golden as his body temperature dropped a bit. He pulled the blanket around him tighter, hoping he'd warm up faster.

Davin kissed both echo and his son and left. He met Halo in the entrance hall. The reaper was standing and looking around. "When did we change the scenery, and why do I sense so many others present?", he ask lookeing at davin. Davin frowned, did Halo not remember, had he been in reaper form so long that his memories had regressed, if so, then they were in hot water.

"We uh changed everything a while back, and you opened this place for guest remember", he said softly, trying to decided what he should do. Halo looked at him and smiled. "Ah I see, you changed the decor while I was away. That was very kind of you", he said sincerly. He even moved to kiss Davin lightly on the lips. "You do truely amaze me sometimes. How is our child, sleeping?" Davin frowned. "Uh about that Halo", he started. He was cut off howver when Halo pushed him onto a leather chair and straddled him, buring his face in to crook of is shoulder. "You smell odd, and I cannot feel our bond, I thought you wanted to wait until the baby was older before we severed the bond? And why do you smell like someone else?" Oh Sh8t' Davin thought, I'm so screwed.

His irises were now a dark blue starting to turn purple. As he laid there his heartbeat started to slow and his eyes drooped. A blackness began to cover his field of vision and he tried not to pass out.

Davin pushed a hand through the black hair, pushing it from his ex-mates pale face. "Halo, look at me", he demanded. A soft lavender eyes feel on him, and Davin sighed relieved, he tore a piece of clothe from his shirt and tied it around Halos head covereing his left eye. D-Davin, w-what", Halo took a shuddering breate and closed is eyes. "I- I am t-truely sorry. I am a-asamed of my behavior". Davin snorted. "Don;t apologize, it isnt your fault, no one blames you". Davin nodded at Death and took him to the small room that served as Halo's office. There was stacks of old books, and journals. Viles of different shapes and colors covered the shelves of the wall. Halo's desk was covered in papers and other objects. "Wow, I had no idea that he could be so messy", Davin grinned, it was unlike the reaper who was usually such a prude about keeping things neat. He picked up a leather bound journal and handed it to Death, then picked up another. Deaths was labled as a Illness and Cures jorunal. Davin was labeled as a medicinal mixtures journal. I guess we should look through that one first. Lets see if he has anything about fevers and reapers, and lets hope we picked the right book".

Davin took the book, "Ha,this is it, now to see what we have to have", he opened the other book and looked at before groaning. "You wouldn't want to volunteer to go into the gardens and get the root of a death ivy by any chance, would you?" he ask, hopefully.

Halo groaned and opened his eyes, he reached up and pulled a damp cloth off os his head, with a frown. "My head feels as if it will split in half", he mumbled. He made to sit up and gasp at the feeling of pain in his chest.He looked down at the bandages then at Echo and saw the baby. "What happened, its looks like i've been injured and you gave birth. Congradulations by the way".

Dante had left for his room during the ordeal, tired of the S***. He took this time to research what he needed to open the doors, able to kind a key inside a please most strange. was inside a picture with a verity of colors, and inside was a rock, the rock then turned shell, which was a home of the hermit. This had a paper which had a clue to the picture of a lion, a bear, and a monkey. This picture led to an hour examination. Until Dante noticed the monkey was not hanging on a panting of a tree, but a real twig. This twig then was pulled out which had key with six numbers on it. Tired by all this he goes to his room, not knowing what had happened.


He tucks the key away in his coat and lays down. "Man if this key took all that... I dread to see where the final key and it's tasks." Dragon is laying on Dante's stomach, sleeping, her warm belly keeping Dante warm enough to not need a blanket.

Halo sighed, "Please forgive me my friend, I'm never myself hen I am reaped out, and it isn't a pleasant experience by any means. He pushed at his hair which was damp with sweat and grimaced. "I want a bath, would you mind running one for me, it'll help with my fever until I get the medicine, I'm sure they've found the antidote by now", he grinned. "Do not tell Davin I said so, but he is rather intelligent when he is serious. I am glad that he found you. I am also very happy for the both of you on the birth of your son, what is his name?"

Briar returned from Dimitri's room and to where Davin and Death stood. "How can I help?" Davin looked at at the small male. "Go with Death into the gardens, since neigther of you are affected by that pesky ivy." HE then went to gather the rest of the ingrdients, he stopped when he saw the door to the humans room, he didn;t particularly trust the human, but Halo had nothing against his being here, so he decided to just ignor the feeling and continues on with his task.

Halo looked up at the two, he hated feeling weak and disliked having to burden anyone. "As much as I destest asking this", he started then sighed softly. "But would you hlp me into my bathing chambers Davin?" He looked at Echo, "Please do not take it the wrong way, but I don;t think I can get there myself and i'll need a little help undressing and getting ito the tub", he looked down and flushed. "I wouldn;t ask, but my mate is unpresent and Davin has... well he has seen me before". He was blushing, and hoped that the others thought it was from the fever. He let out a surprised sound when Davin scooped him up.

"Think nothing of it, Halo, we're still friends after all, you should know i'll help, and your Echo's best friend, so why would he mind", he carried the reaper into the bathroom.

Briar looked at the death ivy in the center of the garden and bent onto his knees, and dug up the root. It was an odd looking root that was a deep red color. "This should do it. Don;t you think?" he ask Death softly as he smiled.

Halo shooed Davin out of the room once he was seated on the edge of the tub. He assured the spider-king that he was fine and that after the bath and once he had the medicine, he would be fine.

Davin looked at his own mate as he changed the bedding, then piced up their son. "Hey Echo, how long ago was it since Halo mated wit that fallen gu?" he ask, then cooed at Micca as he waited for the answer.

Briar looked at the Death then the plant, "No it doesn't mind, its Halos energy that feeds them, so with it then they'd cease to be", he answered.

Dante discovers that there was a place under a small arch where two star crossed lovers were scalped into a stone. They had what seemed to be blood dripping from their eyes. and under neath were words that said:

Davin put all the ingredients in the kettle and then knoocked on the door. "You need help getting out?", he ask. "Okay", Davin answered then looked at Echo, "I'm gonna run to kitchen and get us a snack, be right back babe." Then he was out the door.

The door opened and Halo peeked his head out, damp dark hair curling and sticking to his face, "Echo do me a favor please and give me something comfortable from my closet. It doesn;t matter what, I forgot to get closthes when I came in here", he grinned sheepishly, but he felt better.

Halo changed into the clothing, it was his customary black and white, and he smiled. "Oh it feels much better, thank you". He poured some tea into a silver cup and sipped it. It was bitter but it was to a an exact preparation that he himself couldn;t have done better.

Briar had left the others and pulled Death with him. "Since Halo is getting well, let us go explore the veil", he insisted.

Halo watched as Echo tended to the baby. "I know the reaper that was in charge of harvestng your familys life reels". He wasn;t sure what the vampire would say, but he thought he deserved to know.

Davin and went to their room and retrieved the diaper, then hurried back to Halo's room. Oddly it amused him how much everyone was always coming to the reapers room for something. He decided that the reaper must just sleep on his couch. That was another thing he thought of randomly, there was a lot of couches in the manison. He shook his head and walked through the door.

Dragon has pulled Dante to a picture of a swamp with waters black and red as blood. On it was a woman, looking into the waters and in the reflection was a reaper. In the caption it read:

Dimitri picked up his clean clothes and headed to the nearest stall. He then dried off and got dressed. With a smile he walked back out and looked himself over in the mirror. "Ah, there we go." He said as he combed his fingers through his hair and made it look somewhat presentable. "I can finally walk about with ease, knowing he's no longer out there waiting to do wicked things to me. Dragon pulled Dante through that house to a room he had only seen. The aquatic area. There were exotic fish everywhere and dragon landed on his shoulder. She points to a peril that was blood red, what seemed to be in a red murky water pool. He look at the peril, and picks it up carefully. It cracks and a mist appears and follows a sreatch only imitable by a mermaid out of water.

Dante clutches his ears, as does Dragon and the mermaid falls into a deeper pool and speaks in a murky, yet angelic voice.


-You have broken the peril I see.
What shall I do with thee?

I give you a chance
to redeem your wrong
Now show me the dance,
and you will hear the song.-

Dante looks at this creature and then to Dragon. "What is this dance you speaks of?" She cried blood and wept. Dante sat and looks around. "Dance... what dance.....?"

"Actually she's here now", said a sweet saucy voice. It belonged to a lovely young woman with short pink curls and light pink eyes, her tall slender body was attired by a short bell like skirt and corset that left little to the imagination. "Where is my favorit spiderling creature, is he hanging around in the rafters again", she ask as she looked up at the ceiling.
Halo frowned, "No, he has taken his son and gone to the spider realms as requested", Halo explained and Candy frowned, her lips turned down into a forwn, "Well how do you like that, that dammed asshole didn;t even stay to say hello to me", she sniifed as if upset and Halo sighed as he shook his head.

"And may I say that vampires are my most favorit of all creatures, even if some of them are quiet troublesome, but I understand. Now, these are for you", she handed over a stack of thick books, each a different color. "I made these copies for you to keep, and may I say that of all your brothers, that this one is my upmost favorit", lastly she handed over a green book.

Halo smiled at the pink reaper, "That was very kind of you Candiliera. It takes white a bit of energy to make a copy of a life and death reel, let alone so many", he told Echo.

Dimitri smiled as he headed to his room and put his dirty clothing in a hamper. He then walked over to his window and looked out into the woods. They no longer frightened him. Another smile appeared when he saw a doe a few feet into the woods. "How cute." He said as he turned and walked out to find something fun to do.

Ezra sang softly to his sleeping twins as he prepared a small meal for himself. "You two are so well behaved." He said quietly with a smile as he sat down and nibbled at the sandwich he made. "Hopefully it stays that way." He chuckled lightly. As he ate he examined them, noting who they took after. "You guys look so much like him. Well, Naomi you have my hair but your face still reminds me of him." He said softly, stroking their cheeks gently.

Merihim whistled as he skipped about the mansion trying to find a job to do. "What shall I do today?" He mused out loud with a smile as he explored a bit as well.

It was when he got into his office that he met with a surprise guest. Creul red eyes, and a even crueler smile greeted him,"Hello young one, its been so long since we last spoke. Please now Halo, no need to look so frighten in your own home, come inside I wish to have a word", a cold harsh voice that Halo had thought he'd never hear again, he took a breath and stepped into the room.

Halo watched the stranger as he stood tall and regal and very commanding. "We need you back at the court of reapers", the man said bluntly. Halo snorted, "I'm sorry I thought I said I would never return there after the court tried to sentence me to marrying Javalin, and after I agreed to marry Davin", he said pointedly and moved to sit at his desk.
The man ignored the tone, "As I understand it, you did not bond with Javalin, you fought him. You married the spider-ling and then broke that bond one hundred years later. Halo had taken a seat at his desk as he regarded the still standing older reaper. "For what reason have you came here Harcourt?" he demanded. The elder reaper narrowed his moss colored eyes and tsk in disappointment. "You forget your place young one".
Halo narrowed his visible eye, "You do not know yours. You forget whose home you stand in, and just who I am as well".
"Who you are is of no matter. But I suppose I should tell you why I am here", Harcourt stated, a bit smugly. "The court of reapers have reviewed your records. You have been without a mate for to long. And before you start on about that fallen, he has no been here in nearly a year and you have no child to show for the mating, therefore in our terms you are unmated. Now it has been determined that you must be bonded and to someone the court finds suitable". Halo stood fuming, "You have no right to demand such things, and I demand that you leave my home".
Harcourt stood a visious grin curving his mouth. "Oh but my dear Halo Blackheart, you are mistaken, I do believe that this home belongs to those who were appointed here". At Halo's confused looked Harcourt pulled an aged, rooled up parcment from his robes and handed it over. "My name is on there as well as you can see, and you must know what it means, what you signed all those years ago". Halo read and reread, he fell heavily into his seat. "I agreed that I would be mated and they we both would have equal right in the running of this home. That if I was ever without a mate that one would be appointed to me by the court of reapers or... or Blood Haven is closed indefiantly", he whispered in disbelief.

"It was built while I was still very young, my father and Harcourt built it, they both were the founders, both were two of the most powerful reapers in the realm. Anyway upon my fathers death I inherited his half and I was told that if I agreed to bond then I would inheritate all. I agreed and then I sealed the manison in the veil, but it was an open seal so that anyone could venture inside when they needed help, such is the purpose to this day. But I had written that I would always have a mate to help me run it, that was a clause put in by Harcourt. I didn;t realize that he had put it in because he had some... feeling towards me. Long story short, Hunter has been gone far longer then what the court deems reasonable, and I think that it was Harcout that brought it to their attention for the reason that he is lonely and such", he sighed. "I don;t want this place shut down, but I must abid by the rules as well".

He mused as he found a few books that were not up to date. "I don't think he'll mind if I update these." Halo didn't want to seem rude by denying the offer so he looked at Davin, then stepped towards the door. "I have a few things to do", he disappeared. Davin wrapped an arm around Echo's waist. "This realm will fade into nothing right along with Blood Haven. And it's not that Halo wouldn't consider it, he possibly will send those who can survive, to your manison and find another place for everyone else. But, you see if this place fades, it the veil fades, then Halo will also fade. Perhaps not in the literal sense, but he will not be the one that we hold so dear. You see babe, Blackheart reapers were; from what I understand; the heart of whereever they resided", he placed his chin on the vampires shoulder. "We have the spider realms, the human world, we can possibly even find homes for everyone else who is here, but not the one reaper who went against his his own kinds nature to protect those from what it is his nature to do".

Merihim shrugged as he looked up from the papers he was currently reading. "It was just a thought and an offer. I would only do so if we cannot find some other way to get around this. I think that mostly I just wanted an excuse to go to my first home, to allow my daughter to better know her orgins in her being half reaper. She however is her fathers daughter and the spider lands held more of an allure then then the realms, aand she went to live with him. I busied myself finishing things that I had left behind, that my own father had left behind. It was during that time that I suppose caught Harcourts attention".

"Okay. Milk it is." With a smile Dimitri set to work. While the eggs and bacon cooked he pulled out two plates, glasses and some silverware. He set them up on an empty table before going back to attend to their food. Whistling lightly, he waited for the food to cook before plating it. "Food's done." He announced as he took out the milk and filled their glasses.

Ezra giggled as he watched. "You're so playful. I bet they'll be chasing you around when they get older." He said with a smile. Eli cooed happily and wiggled about as Fae played with them. Naomi cooed as well, but her eyes were not focused on the cat like her brother. Ezra noticed this and looked at his daughter for a moment. "Hmm, either your brother is developing faster, you're a bit behind or you can't see..." He murmured quietly as he rubbed her stomach. Her eyes seemed to be spacey and were not focused on anything. Ezra smiled as he watched the three of them. "You're such a lovely cat, and so well behaved." He said as he grabbed two toys for the twins. They were two plush rabbits, one blue and the other yellow. Eli grabbed his happily and soon had an ear in his mouth. It took Naomi a moment to notice that her father was dangling a toy in front of her. Only when he had it close enough for her to feel it did she grab onto it and played with it. "There you go sweetie. Your father made them especially for you two." He said softly with a smile as he leaned back on the bed. His late husband owned a toy store and made the two rabbits a few weeks before he had passed away.

Ezra tilted his head slightly and watched to see if Naomi responded in any way. Naomi did not seem to notice the cat's paw blocking her vision. She continued to gurgle and wiggle about, her eyes looking off in a random direction.

"I've had a few boyfriends over the years, but the relationships were hardly serious. Dimitri smiled as he followed Ink. The first living room did not have any movies. When they reached the second one, he checked the cabinets in the entertainment center. "Ah, here we go." With a grin he stood up, pulling out a few piles of DVDs. "What genre suites your fancy?"
