C B-side Stories (with Whoknows)

Ian said thank you with a nod and then swayed the crying baby: “Thank you...” He answered, then bent over and kissed him on the cheek: “Thank you very much.”
Reply

Mark blushed, “it’s alright, I’m glad I could help”. He looked down at the baby, “what is their gender? And do you know what you are going to name them?”
Reply

“It’s a boy... Olivier”, he said, kissing the child’s forehead as he stroked his back. He was in love with his son.
Reply

Mark smiled, “that’s a nice name”. They were sat there in silence for a moment before hearing upcoming sirens, Mark climbed out of the van to wave them over.
Reply

Ian held his son to his chest when the paramedics came in. One of the paramedics gave Mark the scissors: “Cut the umbilical cord...” encouraged when the other connected the drip for Ian
Reply

“Oh… alright” Mark replied, he cut the umbilical cord, where the paramedic pointed for him to do so. “Ian, do you want me to meet you at the hospital?” He asked.
Reply

Ian nodded affirmatively. The paramedics then put him on a stretcher with the baby and took him to the ambulance. Ian looked tired.
Reply

Mark watched as the paramedics took Ian and the baby away, then got in his van and followed behind them.

Story 3: Carsen

It was night. Lots of people walk through these streets. They usually go to the movies, bars or clubs.
But Carsen wasn’t one of them. He’s been homeless for six months, ever since his parents kicked a 20-year-old out of the house. He had to drop out of college, and nobody wanted to take him into the job because he was pregnant, which he wanted to keep. He loved children, so he wouldn’t have the heart to end the pregnancy. Unfortunately, he was unsuccessful. Now it was in a box, covered with an old blanket. His big belly was visible under the too small sweatshirt. Carsen’s been tormenting for a while, he felt cramps in his lower abdomen. He didn’t have the strength to move.

James was walking through the streets after going out to a bar with his friends, he would have brought his Range Rover but his friends dragged him out. They all arrived in one car but they were all too drunk and the driver had left. He was already stressed due to his job as a CEO especially considering he was only 24 years old, so this wasn’t helping.

He kicked a bin as he walked passed, but when he heard someone whimper he stopped, looking around. “Hello? Anyone there” he asked.
Reply

Carsen heard someone and instinctively covered his belly. Some were violent, and he wanted to avoid a fight or worse. He had to protect the child. Unfortunately, it was unrealistic to stop the moaning. “Let me alone...” said very quietly
Reply

James frowned, “I’m not going to hurt you” he said softly, he might have been taking his stress out on the bins, but he would never hurt someone. “Are you alright?” He asked, hearing them moan, they sounded in pain.
Reply

Carsen bit his lip as James approached. He wrapped himself more in a blanket: “I’m going to have a baby soon.” That’s normal”, he said quietly, hoping to scare off the CEO.
Reply

James knelt down next to the younger man, “how soon?” He asked, “how old are you?” He removed his blazer and wrapped it around the man,” here it’s cold”.
Reply

Carsen was shaking when the stranger was nearby. He was the first man who cared so much about him. “I don’t know...” He answered the first question: “I’m twenty”, he added, moaning softly, and then he looked at James jackett: “It’s going to get dirty...” established
Reply

“You’re young” He noted.” I’m James. I don’t care about the jacket, I have others” he said. “You look like your in pain, can I help you?”
Reply

“I can do it on my own...” his stomach shrunk “But if you could buy me a roll or a bottle of water, I’d be grateful...” he added with redness
Reply

“Please let me help you more than that” he begged,” come to my penthouse, I’ll give you somewhere to sleep, some food and a shower”.
Reply

“But I have nothing to pay”, he said shyly "I have nothing of value to offer you”, he added in red.
Reply

“I don’t care about money, I just wanted to offer my kindness in the hope that one day someone will help me in a time of need” James explained. “Now get up, we have a train to catch”.
