After Carsen had thought about it, he got up with his help and began to follow him. He smelled and was dirty, so he preferred to stay back so as not to cause him any inconvenience.

James looked to the side expecting Carson to be next to him, so when he wasn’t he looked around. When he saw him behind he sighed in relief, “why are you so far behind? Do you need me to slow down?” He asked.

Carsen walked slowly and felt his legs disobeyed him. “I smell bad.” He said softly and blushingly, “I don’t want you to feel it.”

“I don’t care about how you smell” James said, he wrapped an arm around Carson’s waist, encouraging him to walk closer.

Carsen blushed when James was so close to him. People looked at them funny. A homeless man and a rich man... “You will be late because of me”, he said, broken.

“If we miss the train then we will catch the next one” james said, shrugging. They finally came up to the train station where he purchased two tickets. When they finally boarded the train, there was only one spare seat so he ushered Carson to sit down before anyone else could.

Carsen hasn’t used any means of transport for a long time. He sat quietly in his chair and watched the people around him. They didn’t look at him that funny. He guess they're used to homeless people. “James...” he said softly and touched his shoulder. “Thank you for the ticket”, he said, pointing to a small ticket.

James looked down at Carson and smiled, “your welcome”. They were only on the train for 20 minutes as they needed to get off at the 5th stop. “We get off here”, He said to Carson and held out his hand for him to take.

Carefully, Carsen grabbed his hand and then walked with him to the platform at the fifth stop. “Where are we going now?” he asked him quietly as they walked slowly. Outside it was quite cold: “Aren’t you cold?” he asked when he saw he didn’t have a jacket

James pulled out his phone, “I’m going to call a taxi to come and get us”. He shook his head,”I’m fine, don’t worry”.

Carsen wrapped himself tighter in James' jacket, and when they got into the taxi, he put his hands on his stomach. “At the hospital?” the man asked when he saw Carsen touching his stomach. He thought he was going to give birth.

“Oh not yet, I don’t think” James replied looking at Carson, “he isn’t that far into labour”. He had noticed that Carson contractions seemed to be half an hour apart and knew that they would be turned away if they went now. So he told the man his address and they were on their way.

Carsen nodded in agreement. On the way, he sat quiet and massaged his stomach lightly. He looked at the view from the window. It took them 15 minutes by taxi. They were right in front of a big building. “Here you live?” asked the astonished boy.

“Only on the top floor” James chuckled, “but I actually own the whole building”. He got out of the taxi and held out his hand to help Carson up, then paid the taxi driver. “Come on, let’s go inside”.

Carsen felt uncomfortable in such a beautiful building when he looked so pathetic. In the elevator they drove silently to the top floor of the building. There he saw a modern apartment building. He was in shock. It was very nice.
There was a maid in the living room. When she noticed James, she got closer. The woman was older, but she seemed nice. “Mr. James finally brought someone here he liked”. She sent James an ambiguous smile, and when she saw Carsen, she turned pale: “Are you okay? He looks pale!”

James chuckled, scratching the back of his head,”yeah Mrs Harris, this is Carson and I do not know why he is pale”. He turned to Carson, “are you alright?”

“I’m a little tired...” He said shyly
And Mrs Harris half smiled immediately: “Should I change your bed linen because you sleep in the same bed? The Lord, you should watch over your beloved”, she said as usual, and Carsen blushed strongly.

“Yes, please Mrs Harris” James answered. As he watched the house maid walk off, he turned to Carson, “there is only one bedroom but it might be better if we are in the same room incase you need help in the night”.

Carsen nodded and then looked shyly at his feet ”Can I have a quick bath?” asked James, looking up slowly.

“Sure, it’s down the hallway, the door on the right”, he instructed. Once Carson was in the bath he decided to order some pizza, he ordered a large pepperoni and a large cheese pizza. He didn’t mind which one he had.
