Josh breathed while holding his lover’s hand. His soothing touch gave him some relaxation and calm. He was glad to be next to him.

Hayden switched on a random film and quickly got out of bed to turn the lights off, “try to sleep now”, he said whilst running his hands through Josh’s hair.

Josh smiled slightly and began to watch the movie, feeling his eyes close spontaneously after an hour. He drifted off into a nap, holding Hayden's hand tightly and hugging his tummy with his other hand.

Hayden couldn’t help but watch Josh sleeping, he looked so sweet asleep. In the end, he turned onto his side and pulled Josh closer to cuddle.

Josh instinctively cuddled himself tightly and smiled in his sleep. He clung to his shirt. “You’re cute as I can’t see” he laughed softly and opened his tired eyes

Hayden chuckled, “what’s that supposed to mean?” He ran his hand through Josh’s hair and pushed some of the strands out of his sleepy eyes.

"You care for me equally as much as I sleep.... That's lovely," he said and kissed his cheek. He looked at him with interest and grabbed his hand.

Hayden chuckled, “of course I do, you’re too cute not to”. He lay there watching Josh for a moment before asking, “when do you think your next contraction will be?”

"I don't know... I was still asleep a while ago and I'm medium contact..." he muttered and sighed quietly "I was dreading this moment.... I don't know if I can handle three kids. I don't want to be a bad mother."

Hayden frowned, “I’m sure you’ll be a great mother, and if you ever need help you could always ask me”. He said, “just let me know when you feel one coming”.

Josh nodded and mused his lips briefly. He held his hand. His legs were parted and he was lying on his hip towards his lover. He was breathing deeply through his nose. "I think... That I'm having a cramp," he gasped, biting his lip and closing his eyes. He groaned loudly, and mucus oozed out from between his legs.

Hayden hummed, “keep breathing and try not to focus on the pain”, he sat up and grabbed a towel, dabbing away at the mucus.

Josh breathed loudly, squeezing Hayden's hand "Oohh..." He gasped, feeling the pain and looked down cautiously "Am I okay?"

Hayden nodded and moved the towel underneath Josh’s legs, “yes, it’s just your amniotic fluid is still coming out”, he explained, then grabbed Josh’s hand back.

"It pinches...." he muttered and looked with broken eyes at his lover. He sighed "I am very uncomfortable" he explained

“Would you like to move somewhere else? Or try a different position?” Hayden asked, trying to help him get a little more comfy.

"Could I squat by the bed?" he asked pleadingly, looking him in the eye with a request.

“Of course you can”, Hayden said, scooting to the edge of the bed and standing up.

Josh, with his help, squatted down by the bed, placing his forehead on the mattress. "My buttocks are dying..." he wheezed, crouching apart

Hayden sat down on the mattress, next to where Josh was squatting, “I’m not surprised”.
