Cameron felt his cheeks turn pink.
Rhona nodded and walked over to the machine.
"We'll do an ultrasound and see how the little one is doing.... Why don't you lift your partner's shirt?" she asked Reece.

Reece felt himself heating up, his face turning a little red. “Sure”, he mumbled, lifting up Cameron’s shirt and seeing his baby bump.

Rhona, however, covered Cameron's breasts. She applied some gel to his abdomen and began her examination.
"Is this your first baby?"

Reece watched in awe as the doctor used her equipment, he hadn’t seen any of this before and it was a strange sight. The gel must have been cold because Cameron shivered. His ears perked when he heard the question, he listened it for the answer.

Cameron gripped Reece's hand more gently as he felt the cool gel.
"Yes..." he replied embarrassed.
The doctor only nodded.
"The baby is turned the right way.... It's a little early, but it's not worth prolonging under the circumstances."

Reece ran his thumb over the back of Cameron’s hand, trying to bring him comfort. He assumed he was feeling a little anxious as to what was going to happen.

Rhona also looked at the baby's parameters.
"We are slowly heading to the right part.... You can get some sleep, but she suggests a walk or a ball. That will help a bit."

Reece looked over at Cameron, “what do you want to do?” He asked.

"How about a ball?" he suggested timidly.

“If that’s what you want”, Reece said, standing up and grabbing it then putting it down near the bed.

When Cameron began to balance on the ball, he felt the grip that guided his body dissipate and his strength was not as strong as before.
"Thanks..." he replied

Reece noticed Cameron looked a little weak and knelt down on the floor near him, “do you want me to support you?”, he asked, cautiously touching the pregnant man’s side.

Cameron shyly nodded his head. He felt really comfortable around his superior. Reece really showed him a lot of concern.
"I'm sorry to take up so much of your time..."

“Please, stop apologising”, Reece chuckled, “I’m here because I’m choosing to be”. He felt Cameron tense up with another contraction and began rubbing his sides, “let me know what I can do to help the pain”.

Cameron began to breathe slowly.
"Will you massage my back?" he asked quietly, and then his cheeks turned a soft pink. "It must be uncomfortable.... To do such things with me..."

Reece nodded and moved to massage Cameron, his fingers moved around trying to soothe the pains. “I don’t mind, honestly”, he admitted.

Cameron fell silent intimidated. He let him massage his body.
"Thank you... It would be strange to be here all alone," he whispered.

“I’m sure it would be”, Reece replied, “I’m glad I’m here though, I would hate for you to feel alone”.

Cameron gently grasped his superior's hand.
"Thank you, Reece... You are a good man."

He chuckled, “I try to be”, Reece admitted, “but it helps when the person I’m helping is cute”.
