Tobias looks horrified after reading the entries, then looking back to the body slumped in the chair. He had seen some messed up things in his life, but something about these scientists creating so many new lives just as an experiment...It made him sick.
He managed to control himself until he heard Charlie retching in the corner. He gagged and coughed before fumbling over to an old trash bin and throwing up.
He stood and wiped his mouth, coughing a few times before digging through his backpack for some water. He downed some before going to Charlie and offering him some. "These are the same people who played with making mutants....they're all sick in the head." He sighed.
"We can probably still salvage something from their lab....and destroy their work. That way it won't get into the wrong hands." He said, giving the other an encouraging smile as he offered a hand to help him up.
What they didn't know was the doctors had known about the overseer's plan and had booby trapped the lab. Syringe darts hidden in the walls of the lab, full of the modified FEV they used...waiting for someone to tamper with anything. Their experiment would continue without them.
